I really do not know what you mean, explain Revelation?

The book of Revelation is the last book of the Bible.
It was written by the Lord God using the Apostle John when John was imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos.
It begins by addressing the 7 churches that were located in a 100 mile area who had sent messengers to John.

Then in Chapter 4 verse 1 the church is called out. That is what is spoken of as the Rapture, and Paul addressed this in 1st Thessolonians Chapter 4 and 1st corinthians chapter 15.

After the church is called out there will begin a series of events that will take place here on earth. And the Bible speaks of it as being the time of Jacobs trouble. The Book of Daniel needs to be read in conjunction with the book of Revelation Because it foretells many of the events that will take place during the time of the Tribulation. Which is the period that takes up much of the Revelation Book. These events will culminate in Chapter 19 when the Lord will return back to this earth and the Battle of Armegeddon will take place. Then there will finally be peace on this earth for 1000yrs. Because Satan will be bound and God will be in charge. After this period is over then Satan will be loosed for a little while. And then will come the Final judgement where Satan and all who have rejected God will be cast into the lake of fire, where they will remain for ever and ever.

I am writing all of this from memory but that is basically what the book of Revelation is all about.

Friend: Please listen to me. God loves you and he wants to save you. Instead of critcizing something that you probably haven,t even read why don,t you take the Bible and read it for yourself. And see for yourself what God really says .

Catholic Church dose not believe in all truth, just what they want. It dose not even allow it people to read the Bible. It dose not even admit when it was started. It was started in 305/6 A.D. by 29 men that agreed to NOT do all Jesus required of us. And its being rolling down it's hill picking up all it can since then. A Roman Caesar ordered changes in it at the end of the forth century. And they go not by the Bible, but what ever they have decided for the most part. A Catholic priest I asked a year ago how he could have himself called "Father" when in Matthew 23:9 Orders from Jesus require that never to be. He claimed he/they was/are above everyone else on earth. Equal to God.

first of all....it is NOT Revelation(s) plural, it is REVELATION.
Where do non Christians get the idea that we can explain everything in the Bible??? WE CANNOT now and never will be able to remember, comprehend, or explain everything in the Bible. God reveals to us what He deems appropriate at just the right time in our life.....it is a relationship. It is not anything instant....the longer we live, the more we get to know and understand and trust Him. Revelation is a HOTLY debated book even among seasoned Christian scholars....

It would be much easier to understand if the second half of the Book of Revelation had not been removed from the New Testament!

"Peace be always with you."

With discernment. As it is written symbolically, and we are to look for the signs that are used as prophecies.

I know what you mean by "confusing" but take a look at Daniel, (chapter2) and see the similarities in the sense that this "dream" needed interpretation, and was also symbolic.

Revelations discusses future events. As these events unfold, any uncertainty about the words will disappear and the Truth will be clear.

Interesting...but I don't understand your question. are you drawing a correlation between God, confusion, and Revelation?

If so, what would you like to have explained?

God bless you. †

Are you confused by the Revelation? Christian believers are not.

Revelation isn't meant to be confusing. It's meant to be revealed. (Hence the title.)
