IF you believe truly that Jesus Christ is the one true way into heaven because the Bible states that Jesus said " no one gets to heaven except through me"... DO YOU honestly believe that ALL Jews, Muslims, Hindu, etc. are going to hell?

**I can't seem to get a straight answer when I ask this to fundamental, born again, evangelical types... and I want a straight answer, so please indulge me.
Thank you, and I mean no disrespect and am not mocking or laughing at your ideals and beliefs, just curious as to why these sects of Christianity preach such exclusionary ideals..

I was just reading about a guy who thinks the Trinity is totally false and baseless!

But its the teaching that I grew up with.

To me, it doesn't matter all that much because I simply believe that Jesus Christ was and is God.

Can someone help me here?

Old Testament Law and New Testament Law are both faulty, accusational, condemning, and often wrongfully convict the innocent. Law vs Law is as if divided against itself, and perhaps viewed by God as Loser vs Loser.

What are your thoughts on law vs law conflicts?

When you have reached that final hour, and see the end approach, what will you remember of your friends here on Religion & Spirituality?

Even thinking about this now, I am a bit overwhelmed. There is so much that comes to mind; the humour, the talented people I've met, the caring shown by everyone.....suffice it to say that I'm truly honoured that people have taken the time to be my friend. To be thought of as a friend is a rare thing, and an incomparable gift.

A special thanks to everyone; you know who you are.

What will you remember of your friends?

.....sick kids in under-funded hospitals in poor nations and so on. Could it really be that "God" only sends them to faith-heal at big crusades? ALSO, many of them claim that they can heal AIDS and "nothing is impossible with God" yet they are not flying over to Africa or South American countries to lay hands on and annoint with oil (and faith heal) the infected children and babies)?? the bible says that if someone is sick, the church elders or believers should lay hands on them and annoint them with oil. Is "God" not sending them to these people either? I doubt these children would be able to get into a healing crusade.

scriptual and real world events posted that indicated Islam (meaning Peace by making all subject to [Islam's] Allah - a Muslim scholar's definition) IS violent . DO you think Q&A needs a new way of getting posts removed other than pulling them due to biased groups complaining ?

New World Translation, 1 Cor 10:9
Neither let us put Jehovah to the test, as some of them put [him] to the test, only to perish by the serpents.

From 1 Cor 10:8-10, we see that the Apostle Paul was referring to the incident where the LORD (ie Jehovah) was wroth with His people who tempted Jehovah, who is revealed as Christ (1 Cor 10:9) and sent fiery serpents (Num 21:6-9). . .

KJV: 1Co 10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

q1) Why do Jehovah witnessess translated in 1 Cor 10:9, the Greek word Christos = Jehovah??

q2) Does this not confirm that the Lord Jesus Christ is Jehovah??

I am not limiting this question to simply those mentioned in the Bible, or an expression in terms of any particular religion; think more broad-minded than that. Do you have any gifts of connecting to others in a manner which might be described as "spiritual"? Do you articulate better on the field of the heart versus the field of mind and word? Can you minister to others in ways that cannot be accurately expressed, yet are very real---a spiritual communication?

If you can relate to such things, how do you define them? Is it empathy? Is it being in accord with soul to such extent as to help lift another's burdens off of their shoulders? I definitely feel there are those who have an intrinsic presence, a capability that is ill-defined, yet palpable; they minister to spirit and soul, and without even seeming to try.

Can such empathic/spiritual ability be acquired, and how so? Do you feel conversant with your fellow man in matters of spirit, and is this ministering to the same?

Think about it. Judas was an apostle. He ate with them, drank with them, traveled and slept next to them. He talked the talk and apparently walked the walk enough so that NONE of the other apostles suspected him. He was a false prophet, a wolf, a deceiver, and yet he tricked the greatest Christians on Earth.
(He did not, however, deceive Christ.)

Could you have spotted this wolf in lamb's clothing? What does this say about false Christians among us today?
