According to Gen. 1:6,7, Psalms 148:4 & 2Peter 3:5 there was, but what type? Is it true that if air pressure increased in Gen. 1:6,7 rain probably would not fall? Anyone know about air pressure? ALSO, how was there light in the beginning of creation before anything was created? Was creation in the dark till light finally appeared?

There was a Mist from ground up;No Rain , until Noah"s Day;
There was the Primredial Light; There is room for
a whole lot of Years between Gen; Verse one and Verse Two;In the "Creation Week" the Sun was Created on the Third Day;
When you look at the Seven Day week----Look at the Menorah,a picture all thru Scripture. Wed; Is the Servant Lamp; the other six are lit from the Middle; Jesus Christ is that middle Lamp--Satan is always trying to take that Position;Look at Wed;
Symbol Mercury a Man with wings carrying a staff
with a snake wrraped around it;This Lamp the fourth,also compares with the Fourt Planet from Earth is the Sun;

Zorro, u r mistaken the Word does not say there was rain on the earth before the flood, it says the earth was irrigated by a mist, the water if u will remember was the deep that the Spirit of God moved over. Read Gen. again.
When God created the earth it was in darkness, but He (the Son) Spoke the Light.
There was also water in the firmament, that flooded the earth because of man's wickedness.
It was enough to cover the earth.
Did u notice there was light before the sun came into being?
