I know that we all sin....

But I believe there is a difference between sinning and being sinful.

How are ways you stop yourself from sinning..

Get into the Spirit by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Only then you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind, eat his word, who is the word, Jesus Christ. You get into the Spirit which is life, and you put the works of the flesh to death. This is a daily process and a practice in life every believer should know and live in, and breath in. We have to do it like breathing, you breath because you have to, so you must live in Christ who is life, because you have to. Life in Christ, death in the flesh where sin dwells.

Romans 7:18-25

You cannot stop yourself from sinning. Sin is born into all of us. In order not to sin you'd have to be deaf and blind since birth, and that might not even do it.

The "best" of Christians sin every day. Christians ask God, through Jesus Christ, for forgiveness of their sin and to help them with their sins.

Sin isn't something you can turn on or off like a switch. It's another of man's shortcomings.

I sin but i use to sin way more now i know i don't want to so i caught myself before i do and i ask God to help me. Pray everytime in your heart if you know there will be any temptation of sinning and God will help, as long as you believe he can.

Tear down the strongholds that the devil has caused in your life by using the sin that so easily besets us.

It's a process, but it starts with seeing the stronghold as something that it's easy for you to justify, or say that God doesn't really care if we do that, but you need to see it as a sin, and see sin as exceedingly sinful.

Defining your terms is helpful too. Iniquity is the propensity to sin, and transgression is sin.

The devil's strongholds in our lives are built of iniquity, and they cause us to transgress.

1. Center your life on the Savior.
2. Pray for strength.
3. Study the scriptures daily.
4. Fill your life with goodness.
5. Avoid tempting places and situations.
6. Strive to influence others for good.
7. Never hesitate in your decisions to withstand temptation.

When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, the Lord never wavered. His answer was quick and firm: "Get thee behind me, Satan" (Luke 4:8). Through your righteous thoughts, words, and actions, you can answer the temptations of the adversary with the same conviction. "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you" (James 4:7-8).

Easy. Avoid the sinners and the places of sin. Think on what is good and right and moral.

Sin is a Christian concept, and since I don't believe in any gods I also don't follow the concept of SIN. I just live the way I wish and let people like you waste time worrying themselves silly about using a swear word or having sex. Enjoy yourself.

Looking inside myself and knowing what can be harmful to me and others. I try everyday not to put myself in a position where I would do something bad.
So far I haven't killed anybody or committed adultery, so I'm doing okay *smiles*

Ortiz,
The best thing that we can do is continually read, study, and obey GOD'S WORD each and every day. I also pray as often as I am able to do so. Our FATHER has an open line of communication with HIS CHILDREN. HE constantly listens to each of us and hopefully, one day we will be in HIS PRESENCE for all of eternity. Have a great weekend and a wonderful Holiday with your friends and family.
Thanks,
Eds
