C L O N E. That is your key word, clone. Yet they can't create something from nothing. I have lived through "It is all about me". In the end it all comes up empty, the Bible answers more questions than a single scientist.

Because, Islam excepts the 5 books from the bible, and then of course Mohamud had his experience of enlightenment when Gabriel the Angel who was at Christ's birth, appeared to him. Now from what I read, Muslims say that Jesus is a great teacher or a great prophet. I ask how can you say that as Christ said, "You see me you see the Father". "I am the Messiah who was to come". "I am". more than once when on the earth, (which is recorder during his life by non religious historians at the time that Christ lived). So having said these things and dying on the cross for the sins of all the world, how can you say he was a good prophet? He would either have to be a LIAR, or a Lunatic...so please explain because I just don't get it. Thank you in advance.

Why do you own the word yet don't want to be refered to as "Mormon's". I could understand it better if you hadn't gone out of the way to make certain other's don't profit off of something that you obviously aren't proud to be refered to as.

I have met a few Jehovah's Witnesses and they have converted from other Christian denominations. If you have also, please share with me why. I am considering this because I am searching my own faith and wondering why Christians aren't more apparent to the world, yet Jehovah's Witnesses follow the Bible strictly. I am tired of being associated with preachers and pastors that are for themselves or money, and all the controversy that surrounds them. My only goal is to live like Christ to be an example. Not to have people confused when they truly know who I am.

Even if I can't remember all of the sins I've committed and if I keep asking the Lord if he could forgive me for all of the sins I've committed and have him help me live the Christian life that he wants me to live would I be able to enter the Gates of Heaven and get rewarded for all of the good things I've done.

I do know that the Lord loves me very much and I want to do my best to live my life for him, I do pray for my family and friends as well as acquaintences.

According to John 20:23 that type of Christian can remit or retain sin. Do you believe the bible? Or do you want to explain it away? Do you want to accept the words of Christ or interpret them? This book is no joke, and it would behoove each and every one of us to redeem the time.

Since he runs a sweatshop of elves to make all the toys for him, he has all year to devote to his two favorite pasttimes: voyeurism and list-making. He can see you when you are sleeping and he knows when you are awake. He can even see you when you are having sex. He is like God, except without smiting abilities. He can however, run people over with his reindeer. So will you be getting presents or coal in your stocking this year?

Baptism which was for the remission of sins for all who were able to repent, was changed and made a solemn mockery. Baptism was for those who were capable of sinning. It was performed by immersion of the entire body in water. It was changed by the Catholic Church to sprinkling or pouring water on the head, which is definitely not a burial. (Romans 6:1-6; Colossians 2:12)

Hello, My mother is a Catholic as am I. She has been all her life but being a child of Presbyterian parents she has never had Confirmation. She is 50 and would like to get Confirmed. I was wondering if anyone can help me in finding out where we can go for Confirmation for her. I know we can go to our Church but she wants to be Confirmed not just by herself in front of a crowd and not with just the little children and her. She is a shy women. We are from Sydney. Also I was wondering if a person can get reconfirmed? I was Confirmed many years ago but would like to be reconfirmed with my mother if I once again can. And do I have to chose a Saints name or can I choose a Holy place as my name? Thank you all for your help. Very much appreciated. Merry Christmas and bless you all.

When I say is it true I mean all of it.

If so then how do you respond to the fact that there are 101 clear contradictions in it?
Go to answering-christianity.com and look for 101_bible_contradictions.

How can you rely on a text with so many errors?

Don't even bother to answer if you can't come up with an answer that I don't have to be a Christian to buy into. This is an academic question that deserves a THOUGHTFUL response not a lecture on how I need to accept Christ as my personal saviour.

For myself, my life is a catelogue of failures, and nothing more. I am a failed artist, a failed writer, a failed partner, a failed friend, even a failed socialist. In time, I think the resume of life that we have to look at becomes our basis for relating to things spiritual.

God, it seems, pays attention to the success stories, not life's failures. Were it not for my failures I wouldn't be conspicuous at all. This, however, is no spiritual enhancement, or credit to any deity.

What about you? Do you have successes that God has shined his light upon? Do you perhaps feel the credit for them is due him? When you can count your successes on earth, does this equate to successes in Heaven....or even the means of reaching Heaven?

Not the best constructed question, I know, but I am running low on inspiration---even negative inspiration.
