How dare you weak minded humans claim to KNOW what the Almighty GOD would do.
Who do you think you are?

How so Edward J?
I would never think of thinking I know what GOD would or would not do. He is almighty and I am his CREATION. It is impossible for me to put expectations on GOD or to be so pompous as to say what he will do next.

WOW! "since God will not violate His word."
Carson. Telling GOD what he would or wouldn't do. Have you no fear of HE your CREATOR?

Edward, I said what "what happens if..".
Why wouldn't GOD do that? He's done it before.
He may do it again.
Funny how people say what he WILL and WONT do.

Dear Friend,
God does not command "anyone" to kill their own child. Now, someone may claim to "think" that God told them to do such a horrific thing, but believe me, it is impossible for God to tell a person to kill their own child.
Satan is such a liar and a deceiver...and, he can IMITATE the things of God. Therefore, when the great deceiver tells someone to kill their child, it is very possible for someone to "think" it was God...but it was NOT! That's why it is imperative to "have" spiritual discernment. To "know" if it is from God or from Satan. The only way to know, is to know the character of God through His Word.
For instance, a bank teller, when in training is taught what REAL authentic dollar bills look like. They examine and examine them to know what an original looks like. Why? Because when a phony dollar bill is handed to them, they can "identify" it right away. The same is with "knowing" Jesus Christ. When you "know" the authentic...the "real" one....you won't be fooled by the false one (Satan).
By the way, it isn't just evangelists that can hear from God, but ...anyone who truly accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and HAS.. a personal relationship with Him.
Sincerely in Christ Jesus,
lostnsavd...

...Well, sir, we have the Scriptures, as our guide for life and practice.
...If in doubt, check it out - observe Acts 17:11
"Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the Scriptures with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so."
...Obviously, your hypothetical question would fail when tested against the Scriptures, since God will not violate His word.
...BTW, what is your source book of truth? How do you determine what is right and wrong?
**
...To Bernie H - Yes, I fear God, but don't you? It sounds like you do not believe the Bible - what if you are wrong?
,,,I dare say these thingsThe Bible is God's revelation to man. The Bible is the sourcebook of truth for the Christian believers. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 we read, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. "
...He has exalted His word ("Forever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven"; in another verse we are told "The grass withers and the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever), and every Christian is given the Holy Spirit to help him to know and discern good and evil by studying the Scriptures.
...Have you ever looked at the evidence for the Bible and its uniqueness? Its main theme that runs throughout 66 books is God's plan of redemption for man. It all points to Jesus Christ as our sin-bearer and Lord. The Bible says He is God and the only way to God.
...The Bible also contains historical accounts of God's dealings with man and man's activities on earth.
....You still have not said what your guidebook for life is and you haven't given any evidence of what you believe. How about it?

Anyone can talk to God. That is what praying is. God instructed a man once to kill his only son, the man set about to do it and an angel of the Lord appeared at the last second and commanded him to stop. God was just testing him to see if he would be obedient. God then did not hesitate to send HIS only Son to die on the cross to die for mankind's sins. Anyone who calls on Jesus for forgiveness of their sins is forgiven by God.

You seem to be the one putting words in Gods mouth tonight. Edit: You just finished saying if God commands one of them to kill their kids. So in other words you are suggesting he could? Why assume he will tell Christians to kill anyone? Your arguing against yourself. Good luck on that one.
