Do you support denying legislation to allow a persons right to die regardless of a persons faith or lack of one?

Do you support faith based laws such as a ban on abortion on people regardless of a persons faith or lack of one?

Do you support bringing Christianity back to pubic schools regardless of the non-Christian community such as Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim ( to name a few) that attend public school?

Do you support censoring public media outlets to conform to a sole pro-Christian view regardless of the diverse ethnic/religious society?

If you said yes to any of these questions

If the changes took place it would impact you as an individual or would it impact anyone who didn’t follow your beliefs more?

If the changes took place how do you think the non-Christian community would receive it?

Lastly, if the changes took place do you think the non-Christian community would feel free?

For now, I'll define the practice of "Respectful Evangelism" as the following:

1. Requesting permission to talk about your faith.
2. Accepting a refusal with grace and understanding.
3. Stopping when someone indicates in any way that they've heard enough.
4. Openness to hearing others' experience, even if it contradicts your story.
5. Never displaying dissatisfaction with the other person's response.

So I realize that I just don't care whether god exists or not. I would put a strong pascal wager bet on the "god doesn't exist" side, but it doesn't mean much, as I can't prove it. But I can settle the issue very easily.

I just don't care if there's a god, and if he exists, I don't want to be part of his project. I read the bible and every other page made my jaws open. My moral values find these readings appalling, so I decided that even if your god exists, I just don't care. So he can wipe me out of existence, end of story - issue settled.

Anyone else feel this way?

And even psychics and fortune tellers seem more prevalent in the states, why is this? It might be because I’m just exposed to more American media than the media of other countries and I have mainly my own country to compare and we have scammers here but, they don’t seem to be as successful here as in the states.

Do you think the answer is because we all have been living in an "Altered state of consciousness" ?

Do you think someone else is living their live through us; robbing us even of using our own common sense?

What say you all?

I don't care if Christians feel all special and better than atheists, but why do they want to convert us so bad? They can do all the "good" things and go to Heaven but they try so bad to "prevent" us from Hell. Before they blame other people I think they should make themselves a better example. I don't think they should try to force it on us.

Atheists are the most untrusted minority in US(vote). 10% of ppl in US are atheists and 75% Christians. Only 0.2% of jail population are atheists. Christians have MUCH higher crime rates than Muslims or other religions, meaning most criminals are Christians. And yet JUST because we lack god in our lives we can't hold office in 11 states, blue laws exist, and atheist boys can't join Boy scouts. Christians try to control science educations and teach bibles instead in schools, Bush Senior says that he doesn't see why atheists should be considered citizens b/c USA is ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

We aren't bad people, and yet we get treated so unfairly

I know that Christians usually disdain from references to the late John Lennon, but he most often referred to the late great St. Thomas More in his music. But here is the real question. Do Christians really think that atheists hate them? Because , I for one do not. My mission, as it has always been, is to show some of my fellow humans that there is some other way than what our parents told us about. You don't have to believe in god. You only have to believe in yourself, and with that grace, bestow upon your fellows good works.
What do you think?

Are there any online churches, or organizations of some kind that would donate or loan someone in need money to pay bills? I am in desperate need. I'm broke from medical bills and can't work because I'm very ill, and I can't get welfare because I'm not a pregnant single mother. I am so frustrated. Where can I go for help? I can't really get out, that's why I'm hoping for an online solution.

I've got my multiplication tables down, but I'm having trouble with the "fruitful" part. I'm confused--does this have something to do with Kirk Cameron and his bananas....?

Or is it what I think it is.....?

1. Rene Descartes was both a fool and vain, to think such philosophical inanities. (That's right Rene, as long as you can "think" you are in existence, but everyone else maybe illusory. Trees don't feel pain baby. A rock has never doubted it's existence. You're all alone. Thanks for math, it's just as useful as language, too bad it only works in this temporary world.)
2. Thank you Plato, you made sure Socrates work was published. Socrates just another man who hanged himself metaphorically. -True evil is ignorance, wisdom is true virtue. -All I know is that I know nothing.- Socrates, with all his god-like wisdom, called himself a complete ignorant fool in the ears of all around him. Thus, he was imprisoned and given poison to take away his corrupt life and teachings.
3. Life=Death=Nothing
4. School may have taught you a lot, but they didn't teach you it only works in this imperfect world.
5. Man is counting and cannot be bothered, or he'll lose his place.

only 8 people were saved, and when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha, only a small number were saved, so why did God make humans, since most of them will probably just end up in Hell???

I have had 2 guys coming to my home and today was the second time. Today, they preached about a "prophet" called Joseph Smith who came to restore the true word of God, 200 years ago. Since I was born I have never heard of this and I have also asked my Christian relatives and no-one has heard of this "prophet". Since he is so important, I'd think people would know him. Does anyone know where this is leading? I know people that were brainwashed and ended up in cults and if you know something please let me know so I can put a stop to this. I don't mind praying with people but when they claim things like that this guy had God and Jesus appear to him and that God had said to him that "all churches were wrong", I want to validate it, because it's a huge claim in Christianity. Ofcourse I know churches and religions may have different teachings...so they claim that when Jesus died the true gospel was removed from earth and this Joseph Smith brought back the "truth". Anyone? Thanks....!

I'm not saying that being a christian is bad, but I mean seriously. Christians cannot say that one religion is damned, or doomed when their bible says that their God will be the only one who will pass judgement. They're contradicting themselves. I do belive that most christians are TOLD to read the bible and have no spiritual incite whatsoever. Its all a tradition if you will. They're all ignorant, to an extent.

I find it interesting that the bible has numerous interpretations. It seems as though some clever people put much thought into how to write the bible. I don't understand why "god" couldn't explain his existence. Why would he not explain in "his" book why he would not appear to us, or how he came into existence.

Basically, "god" gave absolutely no introduction to his religion. Even if he exists, I don't care. I will not restrict my lifestyle to comprimise with this "god" who can't even tell me what he wants.

I don't care. No god.
