GOOD NEWS! For atheists EVERY DAY IS JUDGMENT DAY! We assess our behavior every day on the basis of our secular moral standards and take great care to treat others with dignity, respect and honor. We need not excuses to do this and when we blunder we feel very bad right now. We then correct our lapses, become more mature and do better the next time.
Unless you get old like me then you don't give a damn.

When you stand in front of Odin will you plead ignorance? The answers have been in front of you all along. Even the rainbows have been there to show you the truth in the stories about the Bifrost bridge and the gods.

First point: there won't be any judgment day of the sort where god comes down out of the clouds. It's a wild image, so maybe it will be in a movie. But it won't ever be real.

Second point: on the off chance that it would happen, I'd wait my turn and then tell god that was not very Christian of him to allow so much pain, so much suffering, and so much stupidity by his own followers.

When that magical day comes, as it surely is just around the corner (as it has been for millenia)...I will not plead ignorance. I will tell Jesus that he was not worth embracing, was just a distraction from God, and that God himself, as described by Abrahamic religions, was not worth worshipping himself. I would gladly be damned for that.

I'll just say "You expect me to believe a virgin birth, a guy coming back to life, walking on water and healing blind people? And you've got three different versions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Give me a break!"

TRUE Christians believe every day is a Judgement Day. Life is a process, not a goal.

No, I will not. I will proudly claim my belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster before being admitted to a heaven of beer volcanoes and stripper factories.

Oops! I guess it's too late for that excuse. Though true it does say, "the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows." Luke 12:48

The more you know, the more you will be held responsible for.
