should we give more earnest heed to seek & find clues;
especially if "give more earnest heed" associated with
"escape", and the only other option is "no escape"?

- "seek" ye first the kingdom of God (is within you), AND his righteousness (isn't your right-eousness, when face to face)

- "find" grace, in time, to help (solve the mysteries of God)

- be ye reconciled (through Jesus --> Christ) ---> to God

- God(Grace) is not a man that he should lie(law) or die(law)

What are your thoughts on seek and find, help to escape?

What awful lawful thing "to come" would we be escaping?

We must know that the anti-Christ will come up with the sons of God in their mist and come to power, John stated in his gospel that the anti-christ was already here in his days. the great apostasy will come out of religion. I'm open and will not pick or give thumbs down even if you curse me or report me, Jesus gave his life for me and I love that and I'm willing to lay my life down also for my friend. We are all brothers, let me know your opinion, I make mistakes and probably the biggest sinner of you all, but I know I need him ,Jesus. Lets talk!

I'm not sure if anyone has already done this, but wouldn't it be appropriate if somebody edited the Bible to be more appropriate for today's society?
Not only could it be made more politically correct (removal of thumbs-up towards racism, misogyny, homophobia and slavery) but someone could censor it a bit so it's more family friendly.

What do you say? (Note: the correct way to say that as opposed to "what say you?")

This was a quote someone said to me once when I was starting to doubt my spiritual abilities and it struck very true with me, it ticked all the right boxes.
Has anyone else ever heard a quote that really 'spoke to them' and what are your opinions on the one above?
Blessings

represent Chirst? I have a coworker who is freaking out over the fact that everything in stores say "holiday" instead of Christmas (decorations). I'm just curious if it bothers anyone else and why? What do plastic trees and colored lights have to do with anything holy?

I had this dream about one of my friends betraying me. about 2 months later this dude I had been friends with since the 3rd grade had called me. It caught me off guard. We were in this beef, mainly between me and this other dude, but we put that aside and put that in the past. So he picked me up, and we were just chillin. We were smoking weed. All of a sudden, I got this sick feeling in my spirit. I looked up at him, and he was looking at me in a evil way. My spirit felt as if it had left my body to fight a evil spirit. Its like he consumed my strenght. Like, I was so full of light, and now I am full of darkness. This was two years ago, and my spirit has not been right sense. My spirit is like constantly greiving. It is weak. Its like I opened up a door to him. It feels like he gave all his demons to me. I feel tired all the time, and my spirit feels like its trapped and can't get free. People seem to be uneasy around me, like I'm a disease.I have prayed and prayed. Can somone help me

John 6

6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

A lot of churches advertise themselves as "Bible-based" (as opposed to some traditions which allow also for tradition), so I was wondering which one(s) were most strongly so.

After answering a question today related to the Atheist Agenda, and after doing some research, this question popped into my head & I turned to Y!A R&Sers in seeking the answer. So, good people, what is your answer & why?

Best Answer will be awarded to a thought provoking answer (which are much appreciated), whereas thoughtless drivel will be ignored (or thumbs-downed I guess). Thank you very much!

here's my analogy of it:

look at the news, to see it's a system-attic chaotic mess

look at the evidence, to see what's evident in Galatians 3

Problem: Law does more harm than good
Solution: Grace does good only, never harms

He taketh away the first,
that he may establish the second.

Law: press DELETE to take away
Grace: press SAVE to e-stablish

Grace --> Mercy ---> Peace with you all. Amen.

what's your analogy of the problem and solution to it?

I've noticed that a lot of Mormons get frustrated when they find that non-latter day Christians and non-Christians don't think they believe in the same Jesus. But now I've really started to wonder why that is because Mormons happen to think exactly the same thing of non-Mormons don't they? Mormons I'm looking for answers from you especially!

Don't Mormons believe that no one is actually saved unless they are Mormon? Isn't that why they call themselves by a different name so as to show the difference between them and other Christians and churches?

So why do they care about "non-Mormon Christians" accepting them as Christian? Or do they? In my experience that seems to be what I have found.

Scientific Paganism. Your Brain is God.

These are Dr. Leary's ideas, yet every time I bring him up as a possible Prophet for the New Aeon he's rejected because he was a drug fiend and a hedonist. Freud was a Drug Fiend too, do you reject psychiatry? Do you also reject Tesla's ideas because of his personal shortcomings? (which were eerily similar to Leary's) How Scientific are you if you reject an idea without testing it because of it's source?

for eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, if they did not have the knowledge of good and evil to know it was a sin to eat it?

Yes, God told them not to--but again, if they didn't know right from wrong, how is this sinning? And why would it affect me?

Not to mention The Angels, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? The concept of a Trinity being one true God seems disingenuous at best.

The gods of one age become the devils of the age to follow. The priests look forward to the age to come and see only the end of the world. -Lon Milo Duquette

ps. the term "Scientific Paganism" was coined by philosopher Timothy Leary in his book "Your Brain is God."
