That's an idea whose time has come and gone. Now, we're trying to discover how to survive as a planet after being subjected to the irresponsible and unaccountable behavior of religious fundamentalists longer than anyone cares to remember.

I think everyone should accept responsibility for their actions but as far as my beliefs they are my believes. I am pro life, I believe marriage is to be between a man and a woman, I believe in God and believe each person should have the right to believe or not. I believe people should say what they mean and mean what they say,not just go along with the crowd just to be popular. And thumbs down don't bother me so go ahead and hit it.

Beliefs? What you believe should have nothing to do with accepting responsibility for your own actions. Your beliefs, your truth, and your spirituality are all meant to supplement you as a person. Beliefs and spirituality were never meant to be fetters by which your every action is under controllment. There is darkness as well as light within each of us, and it is yours to choose. There are consequences for every action good or bad. Change your attitude and you can change your world, just be ready to face the changes that you have made.

Perhaps it would be better to keep their beliefs and still accept personal responsibility for their actions.

Of course it's time; human beings really need quit blaming other sources (primarily: God) and accept that their choices, good or bad, are their choices.
They just don't want to.
Some Christians simply can't handle that kind of pressure.
Edit: "Well fine, go ahead and be your own boss; sooner or later you’re going to get sick and tired of constantly getting yourself into one mess after another. "
I've been my own boss for about ten years--ever since I dropped Christianity when I was eight--and nothing bad has ever happened to me. Wait--I got a two hour detention once for too many tardies. Oh, and my great-grandpa died when I was a freshman. Hmm. Let's dive a little further, shall we? I'm a virgin and I plan on staying one until I'm in a serious relationship. I don't do drugs and I never will. I don't smoke or drink or sneak out of my parent's house. I guess Jesus has got a lot of cleaning up to do--I'm just a mess!

Well, as I understand the teachings of God, through the Bible, I am responsible for my actions, and I am accountable to a higher being for my behavior. I have to accept the fact that if I make a mistake, I'm expected to make atonement for my wrongdoing.
The concept of forgivenes does not give me the right to be irresponsible. Instead, the concept of forgiveness is there for the person who wants to admit they have done something wrong and want to turn away from that wrongful behavior. The forgiveness part comes in when our God chooses not to penalize us for our sins. Forgiveness is based upon repentance, which is a heartfelt turning away from sin.

Indeed, leave the principles (laws) to go on unto perfection (grace): Hebrews 6:1. And "you all" begins with "you".
Law: both good and evil: does more harm than good
Grace: is good only: does only good, and it's always
Grace --> Mercy ---> Peace with you all. Amen.

"Everyone must die once, and after that comes judgement" Heb 9:27
In other words according to the Bible everyone will be held responsible for their actions. So faith and accountability are capatible.

Absolutely. They blame satan for their sins and say they will be saved because they believe in jesu, even if they did bad things. Some even teach that being greedy is good. The greedier the better.
What utter nonsense.

You bet. Holding onto your beliefs is not different then holding on to a girl friend who told you to piss off or your money when asked to spend more then you want, etc.
A clear mind has no beliefs for it is not clear.
