look at it this way, 1200 years ago you would of had your tongue nailed to the roof of your mouth by christians just for asking that question. they've come a long way in acceptance of questions.

Well, it is.
If you are to believe in the Christian concept of God and Jesus Christ then you must believe the Bible.
You can't run around saying that people at one time lived with the dinosaurs. You can't run around saying that God planted fossils of dinosaurs to trick us or say that light coming from billions of light years away were set up by God to fool us too. You have to, somehow, correctly assimulate these aspects of our existance with the Bible that claims a 6 thousand year existance of our Universe. If this is not possible than I guess you'll just have to understand that the Bible is wrong and, therefor, so is your religion.
Also, we must accept all of the Bible and this includes all the death and destruction and advice on who to kill, notwithstanding, the Ten Commandments.
And Huckabee claims no contradictions. Whoa!

Well I believe you've got it right. It's because "Christians", are not Christian, but why would you blaspheme those people who are actually Christian?
The bible addresses that issue here.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20John%201:7-11&version=31
Those people who act contrary to the teaching are the deceivers. They have not acknowledged Christ in the flesh, they are not led by the Holy Spirit, they have denied the Holy Spirit within their flesh. They are not of Christ if they behave "contrary to Christ"(=antichrist).
You are perfectly just to distrust a deceiver, but don't blaspheme those who are walking in truth. (Or you the deceived are also a deceiver, but not of those who know truth, only of those struggling to believe.)

Not all Christians say stuff like that, most are open minded and willing to accept others faiths.
Unfortunately the Christians that are more accepting are generally also more shy. [For want of a better word] This is probably the reason why atheist assume that we all damn them to hell.
That is for God to decide.

properly, maximum atheists will settle for mathematical proofs besides, as any life like guy or woman could. it is not fairly the comparable element as scientific info. In arithmetic, concepts would properly be shown; in technological know-how, in assessment, any hypotheses could be testable (and as a result project to disproof, if the info shows that such hypotheses are incorrect). different than those 2 strategies, i be attentive to of no solid reason to settle for a proposition. If the president, or the pope, or whomever, tells me that the moon is made up of snow, to illustrate, i'm nevertheless going to decide to study the info that helps this declare. Arguments from authority (which includes historical texts, in lots of situations referred to as "holy books") are thoroughly non-persuasive to me.

well logic would dictate if a group said that there faith alone is right, and anything outside the faith is condemned, an idea that does not fit in with the faith would naturally be seen as condemnable
please use logic

If their Bible tells them that other religions are blasphemous-then, to them, they are.
