Well... technically I am a witch (though I've neglected my studies a little recently... school and all)- yes I am spiritual, I have much faith in witchcraft, etc. Though I wouldn't consider myself to be superstitious. I'm not into bad luck or bad omens.

I am a Heathen in the Norse/Germanic Tradition...That may or may not have any bearing in regards to your question at hand. However, I tend to hold to the proverb of "Change your attitude, and you can change your world." I believe that the Wiccan mentioned something of exerting your will, and someone else mentioned that you should use positive affirmations...I find both of their methods to be correct, and it fits perfectly in with what I'm saying. Perhaps the thing that you are having ill-luck with just needs a different approach. If someone is stupidly using witchcraft against you the best thing you can do is ride it out and laugh your hardest...I'm serious about the laughing thing (after all it is the best medicine - and people like others who laugh much).

I take superstitions with a grain of salt. most are just harmful thought forms. I have experienced the spiritual and have seen psychic abilities(witchcraft) in action. Also, try telling yourself that you have good luck all the time. By telling yourself you have bad luck you are reinforcing that thought and making it your reality. This is the basis of all magic. If you are open minded as you say give it a shot.

That's your problem. You BELEIVE you have the worst luck all the time. All of the things you describe (magic, witch craft, even superstition) are based on belief, or intention. Energy follows thought. Remember that.

I don't believe in witchcraft in the faith sense. I experience it as a very real and scientific thing. Not that I always know how it works, but it works all the same. It's like using a door knob. You don't need to know how all the components work, you just have to turn the knob. It has absolutely nothing to do with Satan. Satan was invented by Christians to scare people in to following the church precepts.

I am a witch; I use witchcraft because it certainly appears to work. In my religion, we view magic as a way of using our wills to influence and work with (not in opposition to) the Divine energy that fills the universe. When I perform an act of magic, I feel connected to the power and energy of the Goddess and the God -- a feeling of joy and fulfillment.

However, I'm not terribly superstitious.

All of those things that you mentioned are from satan and demonic. Don't get involved with it, your life will really b messed up. I was involved in this and my life was miserable.
