For arguments sake, lets say that we DID come from evolution and there was in fact a "big bang" that created the universe. We know that even the universe has laws, right?

Well www.dictionary.com defines "God" in its first definition as: the one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe.

Even though being Atheist you don't believe in a religious God (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Pagan, etc...), don't you believe in the Supreme being? Even the tiniest piece of matter had to be created right? If this isn't your view, then what do you believe created the big bang and the matter before that? Thanks :)

How come we always hear about new revelations from the prophets of the LDS church. But we never hear of any prophesies that come true like in the Bible.

Why have the Muslims kept the 450,000 Arab refugees and their descendents in chaos and poverty? Why weren't they welcomed, absorbed and integrated into the societies of their "loving Muslim brothers and sisters" in oil rich Arab states?

What does this say about Islam as a religion of "peace and compassion"?

Wouldn't an argument consitute a one way my way stance? Is that wrong?

So even if religions didn't preach about the wrongs of those things, that still doesn't make it right or wise to engage in these pleasures.

So why are some atheists critical of religions who do criticizes people who do these things? I bet you that a lot of doctors would also tell you not to do a lot of these things. In moderation yes, but even things done in moderation can effect your body. If you are so much for science that you will know that anything that you do to your body (just one time) will effect you in the long run. Hospitals don't ask about your history to know about you social life.

Lots of people put their own selves in the hosptial. There are also social issues to consider as well. Don't think that your open lifestyle isn't going to effect your kids. So what is wrong with a religion preaching against these things, or asking people to do them with moderation and be aware of the consequences?

not 5 gods, or 20,000? If you accept that one god is logically possible, why would multiple gods be impossible?

It's funny to me how people magically start turning into Christians during Christmas.

Personally, I don't care much for Christmas.
