Thanks, Lazarus. If the thumbs down fairies hit, it means they are afraid god won't answer my question. No faith.

I am not being disrespectful. This is a legitimate question. Maybe you're afraid he won't answer.

I was raised fundie. He didn't show himself then. How many people in the bible asked for proof? More than I can count. What is wrong with you christians? You have a mock holiness where god is concerned. Didn't he say he would defend himself and for you not to worry about it. You don't even know your own bible.

Joe, when I look into a baby's eyes, I see the wisdom of the ages. If they could only share what they know before they forget by the time they can speak.

Good question, Khan. The mysteries are defined in the Pagan world. To the initiated they are no longer mysteries. I was one of the "initiated" of god. There was no definement, no explanation. I really have to wonder why. The mind and the heart work in tandem when we are a whole person. It was a dark world living only by the heart. The mind gives enlightenment.

Hey Squirt, just came to play with the big dogs.
I'm not God though, so I can't answer your question.
Let me know if s/he/it appears.
Peace.

God could deffinetly do that. But he rathers speak through others. God speaks through others for a reason. The world is too full of sin for him to speak to you. You sound like you don't belive in God. That is a terrible thing. I hope God blesses you'r heart so you can see the truth that Jesus Christ Son of God LIVES! Don't tempt God please. Ok to answer you'r question, God has made himself know many times! Have you ever picked up a bible? How about heard the story of Noah's Ark? God did that to get rid of all sin in the world. But Satin started sin again and now the world is full of evil. Now Jesus will come back again. It will be soon too. You will hear the trumputs sound and all people who know and have accepted Jesus into there hearts shall be lifted to Heaven! But the rest of the world will be left in darkness. And all on the World at that time will be sent to hell. They will burn for all eterity. Many people dont' belive this but it is true. If you'r still reading this and still don't belive one day you will Belive. Wether if it's on this Earth or in Hell.

Hi Squirt...
What about freedom from the known, or the unknown? I like that, that thing called freedom, --with flavor of a free fall--, which allows the richness of imagination to traverse the endless avenues of possibilities, giving life to thought, the infinite stream of consciousness diving into expressions of itself, all the while unified, but wildly diverse does this blanket of Universe stuff we call reality continue to baffle. Can this power beyond the world of symbols be defined? Must we contain it's boundaries with a name? Trying to have all the 'right' answers befuddles my dumb cracka mind!
I think perhaps Bozo the clown said it best;
"Enjoy the show boys and girls!"

By the question you have ask, it is safe to say that you are thinking with a carnal mind. For you to know God, you must have a spiritual mind. You can acquire a spiritual mind, however I really do not think you want to. If I am wrong, ( and I hope I am ) you can be directed in the right direction by most Christians, or you can contact me at myspace, My URL is in my profile.
God be with you,

If I were God, I wouldn't make myself known either...just look at what they did to Jesus! Do you really think God would come back for seconds? Another thing...think of all the trouble it would cause...and all the money-flow that would be disrupted in the religious venues...BTW, isn't that what Jesus tried to do the last time, disrupt the money-flow? No wonder they crucified Jesus...he had offended them by blaspheming their one true 'god': Money!
After that fiasco, I would never again make myself known publicly...at least not as a recognizable figure...but I've got to fulfill scripture...Hmmm...what should I diguise myself as?

Because then there wouldn't be faith in knowing God is there. I define faith as, "putting enough trust in something that isn't logically proven, believing in something that you can't fully understand, and taking a chance to doubt your doubts."
Oh, and God has made Himself known to us several times. He parted the Red Sea, has spoken to many people through out time, and sent His Son to die for us.
And if you really want to know God then keep thinking about it. Pray. Read the Bible. No one can make God known to you except you and God.

When you act unselfishly and lovingly towards one another, I'm right there. When you are cruel, I split the scene. Rumors to the contrary, I can only take so much. And I've pretty much had it with the bunch of you. Mans' inhumanity to man is NOT what I signed on for. Shape up, or I'll ship out for good. Heed my words: the earth is not the only pebble on my cosmic beach. I'll go where I am wanted and appreciated. See ya.

Why do you guys come in here and mock Christians? I don't think thats very fair.
Well, i guess if you guys did have god in your life you wouldn't act that way, and be hateful and full of spite towards us.
But you all dont worry, one day when you are least expecting it god will show to you, but i am afraid then it might be too late for you.

God is never in the mind.
God is of the heart, connected to the Heart of all.
You really have no idea, do you.
Blinded by your own egoic stance.
More fool you.
Live your life more truly
It will work much better for you, than this childish attempt to mock.
