The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted. Psalm 18:46
Who is this God and Lord? Who is this God of salvation?
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.John 8:24
Do you see you will die in your sins if your salvation is not in Jesus. If you say Jesus is not God then your salvation is in a creation of God and not God Himself. Please do not put your salvation in creation. Put your salvation in God Himself.
The Bible says: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If this is so how could He of been created? This is saying Jesus Christ has always been. I do not wish to offend anyone. I just love you enough to tell you the truth.

Personally I believe that the 10 virgins were all believers. Why? They were all " virgins" esposed to be married to the Bridegroom and also, they had oil in their lamps. The spirit of man we know is a lamp of Jehovah ( Proverbs 20:27)

And we know also that the Oil here represents the Spirit of God in our spirits.
Romans 8:16
" The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirits that we are children of God"

So there is no doubt that these virgins were saved.
But my question to you is this.
They slept.
Sleeping in the bible is associated with death.
What does this portion say to us as believers. Should we be those who allow the Spirit of God to saturate and transform our souls, this " vessel " ( Romans 9:23-24)during our lifetime?

What is your take on this whole matter. Two things we do not know. When we will die and when the Lord will return. While we wait how do we take care to gain the extra oil in our vessels.
Ty for sharing .

I don't understand people like that. Okay so you don't believe, what do you get out of persecuting Christians? Anyway I always feel bad for them that they haven't accepted Jesus Christ as their savoir....especially around Chritmas time.

This has seriously been bugging me. Everytime someone says religion, no matter what for, everyone starts arguing about which ones best. What I've read leads me to believe that the point is for people to do good things and to be good to others and all that. So why the heck does it matter which is best when almost all of them have an emphasis on being a good person. Why do we have to turn things that are beautiful into something to war over. No this is not an invitation to talk about the 'war'.

get married?
its seems that if you can refrain from sex than the bible says you shouldnt marry-if you are a virgin it seems you can refrain-

any thoughts-thanks in advance for any answers-smile and enjoy the night

8Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. 9But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Seriously, every time I see a "warning", it's always a second-hand thing. "Someone told me..." or "I heard that..."

Would you people at least try to educate yourself about what you're protesting against? Or are you really afraid that a single viewing is going to contaminate your mind and challenge your worldview?

And if that's the case...how do you ever manage to leave the house? Do you just wear earplugs and blinders to help filter out anything that might possibly conflict with what you have been so carefully taught?

Is your faith so weak that it cannot stand any challenge?

The Bible orders you to kill witches; it is the explicit, unequivocal commandment of your God (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27). And no, I'm not "taking those verses out of context;" go ahead and look them up. I'll wait.

I am a witch ... a card-carrying pentagram-wearing circle-casting Tarot-card-reading Sabbat-celebrating WITCH (merry meet!). I'll swear to it on your Bible if you like. If you wouldn't, why not? You should obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). Are there any other parts of the Bible that you routinely disobey? Does this mean that you have a rebellious spirit, and need to repent?

Or does it perhaps mean that you obey only the easy commandments of God ("Love thy neighbor") and ignore the commandments that might get you into trouble?

How would you like it if MY holy book ordered me to kill CHRISTIANS ("Thou shalt not suffer a Bible-thumper to live")? Would it make you a little bit nervous if we got into the same elevator?

If evolution is true then there was death before sin. If this is so then you have no need for Jesus. This would also prove the Bible to be wrong.
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned Romans 5:12
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:18-21
Evolution is a doctrine of Demons. The Bible is the true doctrine of God.

Why not? If you haven't read the whole thing, why do you claim to believe that every word of it is true?

Think about it... your Heavenly Father, the creator of the entire universe, who sent his only Son to die for your sins... has written only ONE BOOK, just for you... and you've never even read it!

In an interview the author said that he wanted to get people to stop believing in God by targetting the children. Please warn your friends to stay away from this movie. God bless!

Latter-day Saints do not believe that human beings will ever be independent of God, or that they will ever cease to be surbordinate to God. They believe that to become as God means to overcome the world through the atonement of Jesus Christ (see 1 John 5:4-5; Revelation 2:7,11). Thus the faithful become heirs of god and joint-heirs with Christ and will inherit all things just as Christ inherits all things (see Romans 8:17; Galatians 4:7;1 Cor. 3:21-23; Rev. 21:7). They are received into the "church of the firstborn," meaning they inherit as though they were the firstborn (see Heb 12:23). There are no limitations on these scriptural declarations; those who become as God shall inherit all things. In that glorified state they will resemble our Savior; they will receive his glory and be one with him and with the Father (see 1 John 3:2; 1 Cor 15:49; 2 Cor 3:18; John 17:21-23: Philip 3;21).

many people say that Jesus was prophecied in the old testament.

most of the prophecys they offer, are not prophecys at all, but simply half-sentences taken out of context, or references that don't really refer to jesus unless your prejudiced towards that meaning.

but heres a verse that actually does describe jesus...

Deuteronomy 13:2-6:
2 If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams--and he give thee a sign or a wonder,
3 and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke unto thee--saying: 'Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them';
4 thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams; for HaShem your G-d putteth you to proof, to know whether ye do love HaShem your G-d with all your heart and with all your soul.

Is your experience that the differences cause a great disagreement between you and your spouse?Or do you find that it's something that brings you together rather than separate you?

And if you were married to someone of a different faith but later divorced;was the difference in faith the reason or one of the primary reasons for the divorce?

Why do you think Christians jump in on questions that are directed at pagans, witches, Wiccans, heathens and other "non-believers"? All they do is C&P Bible verses at us telling us we're going to hell for not believing in Jesus and God and yet complain if we answer their questions by saying their God doesn't exist. Fair?
