Why not? If you haven't read the whole thing, why do you claim to believe that every word of it is true?
Think about it... your Heavenly Father, the creator of the entire universe, who sent his only Son to die for your sins... has written only ONE BOOK, just for you... and you've never even read it!

Yes, I've read it. Cover to cover. Straight through. Without skipping around. Multiple times. Goddess, what a waste of time.

That's a great question. I'm a Christian, and I definitely haven't read the whole Bible. Being a Christian really means accepting that there is a God who is greater than all things, and loves us so much. It means believing that he sent his only son to die for us, so that we can live in paradise forever. It's a daily pursuit to be a better person. So each day, I try to learn a little bit more. Ultimately, I accept that God is greater than I could ever be, and I trust him. Each day I thank him not only for what he has planned for me in the future, but what he has already done for me in the past. I completely understand that you have different views, but I hope that you will look at the things the Bbible says with the knowledge that God loves you so much, and he wants the best for you.

Hello,
I have read it from cover to cover in about 55 hours reading it more like a 5 and dime novel so I could get the drift of what it was all about. However that is something like swilling down a whole bottle of 1200.00 vintage wine in a few seconds. You taste it and feel it alright but you miss a lot of taste and enjoyment which you'd receive taking your sweet time.
In other words if you study each book verse by verse while learning about the ancient history, social fabrics and philosophies of lives in those times, economies etc a true comprehensive understanding would take several years.

Yes, I've read it and continue to reread it. I appreciate the challenge of your asking. At first I was a bit offended, thinking, 'This person thinks they are the only one who has read it and is just out to build them-self up. But upon contemplation, I fear it is true that many who confess Christianity haven't read the entire Bible for themselves. Some questions that appear here on Yahoo indicate people would rather ask a question like, "What does the book of Revelation say about Israel?" than to get the good book put and read the twenty pages for themselves.

I have read the complete Bible cover to cover 19 times, and the New Testament alone 34 times.
I believe it to be the literal, sufficient Word of the Living God.
EDIT: I even slog through the genealogies word for word.

Bible means "books" so are many books in one. Not all the words in the Bible are from God. There words said by men, angels and satan (even a donkey). What is important here is if you ever read it. Salvation and discovering great true facts in Bible is a wonderful experience for each one. The only true is Jesus. Bible is the testimony of God and is enough to find and be guide to salvation.

Yes, I have. The Holy Bible is the true word of God the Father. People ridicule the Bible, change it to their own liking, and try to find all types of negative reasons to de-grade the Bible. Read it over and over until you understand. It is a true blessing to all of God's children.

Yes. Several times.
Apparently you have not read the Bible. For any person with even limited investigation would surely know that the Bible is a compilation of 66 different books that were written by 40 separate men.

I've read the whole thing, several times. Not cover to cover, though! That's a horribly tedious way to read it, really. Skip around a bit.
Peace to you.
