Every question has more atheist answers than all of the others. Maybe they are are a majority?

This shows the problem with making generalizations based on a small sample set. The US is only about 5% atheist with the world wide total being around 15%. The world is about 33% Christian followed by Muslims and Hindus.

The majority of the US is either Christian or nominally Christian.

Edit:
It's strange that Christians posting on this forum miss seeing the number of questions here asked to atheists and that fail to realize that R&S questions are shown up the tree at each node i.e. in Society & Culture (where I answer questions) and on the main level.

As an agnostic of long standing, I had no idea before coming to R&S that there were so many other like-minded people in the world! I think that we are more in need of a forum than are the religious/theistic members of our society for the reason that we are more isolated (definitely being a minority) than they are since they generally attend church and socialize with their "brethren". I only have three other agnostic/atheistic relative/friends with whom I can actually discuss my philosophy without offending them. Most theists are not open to hearing the concepts motivating an agnostic!

Hmm, maybe maybe. It could also be that there are others like myself. Generally, I try to answer questions in the most logical way possible.

Thus, I generally sound atheist, even though I'm pagan. Not saying that paganism isn't logical (it is, actually, but too complex for this format), but many people think that if you value logic and science above faith, then you are atheist. Thus, those that incorporate logic and science into their core belief systems will often sound atheist.

That is probably true. But atheists only make up 14-20% of the U.S. at this time, or at least that's all that can be measured. I'd say there is more and rising. But it's much more fun to answer when you are an atheist and the Christians really do not know how to respond when such blatant hypocrisies are pointed out in what they hold so dear.

Atheists converge here for a reason: They do not survive long in a vacuum, they need an echo chamber to re-assure themselves that the night in which they live is not empty.

i'm not religious.i believe in jesus christ.but he is not a religion to me.christianity is about a relationship with him as our savior.some people think religion will get them to heaven.and so they rely on religion to help them.i dont follow religion.jesus is a real person.only he can get people to heaven.religion is a weak, lame attempt to get to heaven.jesus is not a religion.as for the athiests,to each his own.if they think they have all the answers, that's on them.if people really got to know jesus, maybe they'd stop being so skeptical.but we all must make our own choices.nobody is forced to believe in something,or someone,if they dont want to.

These non-Christians, atheists, have/are/will be the majority as long as there is humanity as we know it, this will never be a perfect place as it is now so live life the best and enjoy all these different views the best you can.

Majority on the internet? Yes
Majority in America? No.

No, it's just that all 25 of the worlds atheists congregate in this section.

don't be silly. unless you are here 24/7, then how can you know the stats?

as for more answers...many Christians deliberately skip the incredibly idiotic or obscenely blasphemous because they are a waste of time. atheists on the other hand seem to feel they must express their opinion on everything...
