Many people claim that the Bible warns of those that will add or take from it (you can read the verse below). However, Moses said nearly the exact same thing in Deuteronomy. So, either the Bible says no such thing OR every book AFTER Deuteronomy is false. You can't have it both ways.

So, are you going to continue quoting this scripture, knowing it's not meaning that?

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

I'm not asking to be mean, I honor your beliefs. I just honestly want to know more about you, and since I am male it seems a good place to start. BTW, what does the VT mean?

have sexual relations without the intent of having a child. According to what they say, marriage and sex is for the sole intent of pro-creation. So, even if they ARE married, do they have to enter into sexual relations with the intent of having a child, to pro-create, otherwise the act is sinful

I have heard lots of comments on here about Fundies.... I don't know if I am one. I don't believe God hates homosexuals (He's not fond of that type of sex but there is a lot of sex, He doesn't approve of). I don't believe in a fiery place of eternal torment called Hell ( I believe Hell is a place of the dead) I do believe the Bible is accurate and inspired by God. Am I a fundie?

Hebrews (I think) and it is MESSAGE VERSION
Abraham did it by keeping his eye on an unseen city with real, eternal foundations—the City designed and built by God.
What is this referring to that : Abraham kept his eye on an unseen city ...... etc ?
NIV
8By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

Why is it important to scholars and historians, that the bible tell us that women found the tomb of Christ empty instead of men finding it empty?

Ok, So christmas is...Jesus's birthday. Thats what it's all about.
And somehow it turned into something about a fat man in a
red suit who gives presants away.

So...The real reason, It's jesus's birthday.
The fake reason...A fat man. Santa.

I can't figure out 2 things.

1. Why do alot of Christians tell their kids a lie about santa, but
don't really mention the whole jesus part? (The actual reason
that Christmas exists.)

And 2. (Especially #2) Why do non Christians celebrate
christmas? It's not their holiday. ya know, I would really like it if
they stoped.

So...To those non Christian Chistmas celebraters, Why do you
think that you should get our holiday?

cast them out of your home, never wishing to see them again. Treat them as less than human. Be ashamed to have them as a child. Make life so miserable for them and be so ashamed of them, that if they commited suicide, that you wouldnt care?

This is how many christian parents treat their homosexual children. Homosexuality is listed right next to adultry in Lev. Would you treat your homosexual child this way? If so, why is it ok to treat one sin with so much more gravity than the other?

Answer True or false for each statement:

1) The Earth is approximately 6,000 years old.

2) All life forms on Earth share a common, intentionally designed, beginning.

3) The first human being ever was Adam and he lived in the Garden of Eden.

Please record your answers from above before responding to the final short answer question:

Provide an answer: If evolution is true, why are there still monkeys.?

Please grade your own answers and feel free to compare them to your neighbor's answers. If you responded "true" to any of the first three questions, report yourself for remedial help.

Can't they stop imagining for one second what's going on behind closed doors? I just think it's none of my business. Are they afraid they might have a tendency to make the wrong "choice"?

I'm aware of the abomination passage in Leveticus.
But the Bible also says
-A young girl should marry her rapist.
-A piece of wood falling out of a book is sufficient evidence in a criminal case.
-A woman that gets raped in the city is just as guilty as her rapist. (She should have called for help since her honor is more important than her life). I think the underlying assumption is she must have enjoyed it.

Hardly anybody is suggesting these archaic beliefs should be applied today. So what's the obsession with homosexuality. I am not a homosexual and therefore, it doesn't bother me what other people do.
What's the problem here?

i'm not talking about perfection or excellence, just good. some thing that is good cannot be perfect, or else we wouldn't have words like better or best. if something is good and good means perfect, you can't have something be more perfect or the most perfect. so what is good? and why does the bible teach us that no one is good?
