I'm with you with cutting away ties. The way of the spirit is about: to open up to all, comprehend and accept all. It then becomes more than a circle though; by being children of the Creator, we're all the same, by exception that we're all different. Widen our life from within out is the absolute way of enabling us to a much greater communication with the Spirit! This is for believers and non believers.

No, I do not agree on the terms you wrote in your question, we do not have Friendship with God, we have Love, but, yes I do say that we Leave Material things for God. When we are Born we do not possess anything and when we Die we do not take anything we Have. Also the way of the spirit, as you say, we all have a spirit within us, when we Die God lifts up the Spirit to him, our Body stays so, we really do not have the Spirit inside our Body, when we are Dead.

Not quite this. There is some measure of merit in what you say, but there is more to this. The outer and inner are siblings; these are ever two dynamic things that must be. They are contexts that are imperatives. What is cut or rather, what changes is the content we place within these contexts. Certain ties we keep; others we rid. As we gain greater strength and merit, old ties are dissolved that new ones may establish themselves in our lives. 'That' is the way of Spirit.

Not sure I understand the question fully Rena. Friendship with God can start at any point. It does not have to begin with cutting away of our ties that bind us. When we become friend with God, we are more sure of ourselves, and learn to accept ourselves for who we are, and what life will bring us. Friendship with God can began by just accepting the existance of God, and talking to him everytime you have a question or doubt. :)

Knowing the Judgment is negative in self and the Will is positive is friendship with God. Anything you may do is contingent on the facts in your life. If you are ''cutting away" this is of the Judgment. The Judgment ought Judge its self.

Dear Rena

there is nothing called "friendship with God"

your connection with God is not like your connection with people...

God is the absolute and you/we are the relative..there is no common level unites both on a horizontal way..

He is up and you you/we are down..so it is vertical connection...

by putting in mind that God is Alpha and Omega we can understand that the whole universe is contained within the circle of divine power...including you.

it doesn't matter whether your ties are inners or outers...life is a continuously ongoing operation of mutual and reciprocal interactions and feed-backs between you and the universe (God).

circular relation with no end or beginning.

it starts from an early age where you believe in him, praise him,go by the Bible and honor your parents and so forth.i work at a daycare when time allows me to do so since i am in college and i see how kids starts to get the whole friendship about god from an early age by understanding what he did, going to christamas plays with their parents, for the daycare at church to have different activities revolving around god, and all the wonderful things he did.the more you learn, the better knowledge you have, the more understanding you accumulate, the more closer you are to god.

No, I do not agree, because unless one has become a child of God by being born again there in no kind of relationship with God. There must first be a relationship of intimacy with the Lord and this is only accomplished through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

Religions like to cut people off from other people who have different ideas than what the religion spouts . That way it is easier for them to brainwash people and then send the most brainwashed out to seperate the weakest of others from society and brainwash them .
