It is rather simple:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)

Well, first thing, Do you have accept Jesus as your Savior? Because if you did everything is better. Well you need to know that when we sin there is going to be a consequences. ( One example is that if you have a relationship with a men, the consequences can be pregnancy or HIV) To ask for forgiveness you need to do it with all your heart, he will listen to you, because He loves you, your are the best for HIM, The MERCY of the LORD is great and new everyday. Another thing is that maybe GOD already forgive you, but we are the ones who continue filling bad, when you confess that to Jesus with your heart HE forgives you. Maybe you will see the consequences of that sin, but it will help you to be better, and to think about before doing it again.
God Bless you

You can't do anything to earn God's forgiveness, but you can accept the free gift (that was bought at such great cost). How do you accept ANY free gift? You see it is there, that is being held out to you, and you take it, expressing thanks to the giver. Do you then take out your check book and ask how much you should write out for it? What better way to insult the giver! So with God - the offer of free pardon is there for all who long to be forgiven. It comes in the form of Christ's death to pay for your sins - all of them. In your acceptance of this priceless gift, you are called by Christ to forgive others, freely, and to repent (turn around) from your sinful ways. Those latter two points often take a bit of time to be out-worked, and they are also on-going, but not until you know God's forgiveness will you be able to forgive others in the absolute way God forgives! It's all of God!

Talk to Jesus as you would a friend.
Tell Him you are a sinner, that you believe that He is the Son of God. Tell Him all the wrong you have done. Ask for His forgiveness. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you daily to give you strength.

Most important of all is to find a good bible believing church, make friends with other Christians and read your bible daily

Admit your sins to God and ask him to forgive them. We all as Christians try to leave a life without sin. In this world that is not possible. But we can try our best too. The Lord knows your heart and realizes we will sin. All we can really do is our best and repent for the sins that we are responsible for.

Ask Him for it in prayer. Be sincere, don't just say "I'm sorry" (as in sorry I got caught). You have to stop doing whatever it is, and turn away and start a new life. Ask God to help you with this. Pray to Him in Jesus' name and ask Him to forgive you and save you from this (whatever it is). It may help to pray in the presence of a friend as a "witness" in case you get the false guilts later on.

Forget having god's so called forgiveness. Forgive yourself and quit trying to live up to the impossible standards that are set forth by this imaginary god.
