why is it in all your smarts you have no common sense at all?

blessed be my God who chose the foolish things to confound the wise and the weak things to overthrough the strong,
moses diddnt have a good grammer either but with God he defeated all of egypt.
so the question is not how is my grammer or how smart i am ..but what will you do with Jesus?
good thing for me i am only a follower of Him, i dont claim to be the way the truth or the life,,, but He does,,

so think about what ya say , your talking to him , not me.

Why do so many people say that you only believe in G-d if you believe in the Bible(including the old testament).
I believe in the TORAH(not the new testament), but I still believe in G-d.

If that's true, do you think it bothers God that most of the humans that have lived on Earth will end up in Hell? And given that God knew that was going to happen, why did He bother to create humans when he'd just end up torturing most of them for all eternity?

Heard a wonderful sermon today,
stay pure and wait until marriage. This lady has a kid out of wedlock and now is saved and sanctified in the church. Her kid is 12 now and she has been saved at least 5 years.
Then, she preaches against condoms and birth control. Saying bad about a lady who decides to put her kid on birth control and a school allowing condoms in the bathroom.
I know a lot of young ladies who mess up and belong to church families fall under the pressure, get baptized and then "give their hearts to the lord".
Poor things. They need therapists and ppl to talk to they do.

An example of this is the A-bomb. It has prevented many wars but it also has a huge downside as well. An all knowing God plainly knows what choices and decisions will be made. He knew what Satan would do in other words. You who have eyes know this logic is correct.

For those who don't read all the question - scale of 1 to 5, how much do you literally believe Genesis Ch 1 - 11?

Had dinner with a minister friend who has just left his liberal demoniation to join a more fundementalist one. That got us talking about fundamentalists and I asked him how he defines that belief system. His answer: See how they feel about the first 11 chapters of Genesis. Do they believe it verbatim (that would be 5 on my scale) including belief in the flood, creation, Babel, etc. The other extreme would be to believe it to be allegory. Where do you stand on this scale? I'm looking for a quick survey but explanations are okay.

Final question. Was my friend's theory right. Does that also refelect your beliefs on New Testament stuff like mircales, the rapture, birth and death and ressurection narritives.

My mother called me all of a sudden to pray for my brother cause she felt God put it on her heart to pray(she never calls me). Later we found out that he had crashed(fliped his vehicle 3 times) with out a seat belt and the seat wasen't even bolted down.

He is perfectly fine.
We prayed minutes before the crash when we diden't know anything we just felt we should pray.

I don't gain anything by telling you this, so this isen't made up.

OK this doesn't really belong in the R&S section, but I got no responses in the games section and there are loads more people here, so I apologize for breaking the rules, but my bro needs answers, lol, anyway

My little brothers making some RPG thingy with something he downloaded and he hasn't got a Y!A account so he needed me to ask. He is stuck on what races and classes/jobs to use, any ideas?

We never have observed the changing of one species into another, so the finding of ancient bones is not a valid argument for evolution. Likewise, there is no way to physically prove God created the Earth. Answer with these facts in mind.

My nine year old daughter came back from receiving communion at my brother's church in Troy over the holiday weekend and said the host tasted differently than the host where we go to church in southern New Jersey. How could this be? Isn't this the same Body of Christ? Do they somehow transubstantiate a different Jesus with a different flavor?
