This is literally the best question that has ever, EVER, been posted to Yahoo Answers, and indeed, the Internet.

The answer is simple: God intelligently designed you to be infected with Original Pent.

In the dictionary 'Pent' means: shut in a confined space; shut in; pent-up anger. 'Repent' means: feel regret about (what one has done or failed to do).
In the dictionary/ concordance of the New living Translation bible, 'Repent(ance)(ed)(s)', to be sorry; change of heart and behaviour; a moral U-turn from sin to God.

Oy, go pent some then re-pent and then pent and re-pent and so on. It is more fun penting than re-penting. :)

Oy, oy, oy, still confused? Pent some more. :)

What a funny question!!

Glad you are not all "pent up"!

You sound as though you are just fine. Just keep that sense of humor going and you'll be okay.

According to dicitonary.com you have to confine yourself to pent.
As in confining yourself away from reality. How appropriate.
I guess they just want to make sure you are good and separated from reality.

You really don't need to "re" anything. The "re" part comes from old French and is an intensive prefix. (see below)

repent

c.1290, "to feel regret for sins or crimes," from O.Fr. repentir (11c.), from re-, intensive prefix, + V.L. *penitire "to regret," from L. poenitire "make sorry," from poena (see pain). The distinction between regret (q.v.) and repent is made in many modern languages, but the differentiation is not present in older periods. Repentance is recorded from c.1300, from O.Fr. repentance (12c.).
