Why do Christians believe in Christianity?

Is it because they were born in a Christian family?
Is it because some convincing Christian messenger converted their weak minds?
Is it because they were in deep trouble and tried to pray to God and the prayer was answered? (Not realizing that the prayer did not change the outcome; meaning despite not praying the problem would have been solved anyway)
Is it because Christianity got the most threatening penalty and glorious reward?

More or less those are the reasons.

If you were born in an era where all Bibles and churhes were demolished and no Christian was left on earth and a new dominating religion was establised "Gristianity" with "Gesus" as your new saviour having very different teachings from the Bible is it not true that you people would go around praising the religion and feel so faithful and claim the feelings of being touched by "Gresus"?

Believing something to be true deludes ones mind to concieve everything according.

The sheep obviously need to be herded... someone has to do it.. or you could sell them religious items.. idols and such to put in their homes.

You say Almighty God doesn't exist, but i have a question for you as i'm trying to figure out why?

Ok, here is my question and in your case a hypothetical...

An angel from heaven visited you with a message from the christian God. God has given you the opportunity to see him face to face, all you had to do was agree to it.
Would you agree knowing after seeing God's face your life will never be the same again. You had a chance to see for yourself God and with him all the secrets of the universe.

Would you front God Almighty?

Or, would you decline the invitation because you prefer the life you live now?

I'm curious that's all! Please don't be snide about this question.
Thank you

I am not anti-Christianity, but somehow over the years I have not been able to develop my faith in it. I can't bring myself from thinking all religions are man made. I do go with him to the Church on occasions, but he knows deep down that at the end of the day I am an athiest and he doesn't refrain from showing his disgust about it. I am a good person, stay happy, and try my best to keep everyone happy and healthy. Can anyone tell me if his anger is right? Am a bad human being, a bad person if I don't follow what my husband follows?

Ex-Apostles' Creed

I don't believe in God, allegedly the Father almighty, allegedly creator of heaven and earth. Nor in Jesus Christ, allegedly his only Son, allegedly our Lord, who was allegedly conceived by the alleged Holy Spirit, allegedly born of the alleged Virgin Mary, allegedly suffered under Pontius Pilate, was allegedly crucified, died, and buried. He then allegedly descended into hell, and the third day he allegedly rose from the dead. He then allegedly ascended into heaven, and is allegedly seated at the right hand of the alleged Father, from whence allegedly he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I don't believe in the Holy Spirit, or that the Catholic church is holy, nor do I believe in the communion of saints, nor sins and the forgiveness of alleged sins, nor the resurrection of the body, nor life everlasting.

Or if the nature of evil men is evil, why would God ask them to fight it? Isn't it cruel? The best question of all, why put them in the same place as those who aren't?

If I had a basket and I were to fill that basket, why on earth would I place rotten apples with good apples? The logic behind God's ways are and will always be illogical.

Corinthians 2:14

"But the person who is not a Christian does not understand these words from the Holy Spirit. He thinks they are foolish. He cannot understand them because he does not have the Holy Spirit to help him understand. "

Suppose it were empirically proven tomorrow that God either "exists" or "doesn't exist."

Would you still continue believing/unbelieving as you do now?
