It does not matter to God. It is only a dress code for the false religion which is the alleged born again christian.

Depends The bible says to not lead a person into sin so if your a Girl and you dress lossly... clevage and what not... that would be a sin
basically being a Stumbling block
but I don't believe Christians should dress like the 50's... im Born again but I dress Rockist jeans, band shirts, hoddies etc..
So I don't thing its wrong to wear black... or anything like that I believe its wrong to dress like a wh*re.. pardon my french..
but besides that its a conscience issue don't sear your conscience :)
Edit: Yes the bible says that God judges not by the outside but by the inside but that does not mean you can walk around in a Th*ng...
Because that would cause guys like me to lust.. and yes I would turn away but it makes being a good guy so hard.. get my point?
as Guy I don't want to act like all the other guys I don't want to lust after a girl as if she was a object I want to respect all girls but when Girls don't respect them selves it make's my job harder... its not hanging a beer bottle in front of a recovering alcholic.

Well most people who believe truely in God, don't really going around showing their vagina or breast off. Not trying to be rude. Most people who believe try to cover up, our body is the temple of Jesus Christ. The husband is the only one who should be seeing a woman naked. Likewise. I don't see the Christian thing to do is to go around and being nude out in public or engaing in sexual acts. People in this world tend not to care if they show off their body. God wants us to cover up, clothes can give off the wrong impression. It would be weird to see a preacher woman dressed in high heels and a short mini skirt. I am a Christian woman that likes to cover up, and I still look cute. I look better with more clothing on, I dress classy not trashy.

Why would you have a dress code?
What is this dress code consist of?
Besides...doesn't christianity preach that it's not what's on the outside but what's on the inside that counts?

Yes, the bible says, lead not your brother into temptation, if a attractive girl wears a skimpy skirt, and LOW cut top, deliberatly to attract attention, then this is making a brother in Christ fall. Which is what the bible says not to do

well, as a christian, you shouldn't be dressing in a promiscuous manner (tight/revealing clothes, etc.) you should know what is ok to wear and what's not.

yes it does. would you dress like a tramp if jesus came to your door, would you want him to see you dressed cheaply? dress like a tramp, then expect to get treated like one. i always thought that great advice from my mother, i gave the same advice to my daughter. dress and act like a lady and you will be treated like one. it works!!!!!!!!!!! i've done both.
