Wow, this is a can of holy worms.

If you follow the bible, then to be a follower of Jesus you must hate your children.

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. -- Luke 14:26

That kind of hatred comes from some deep disturbing past.

Lets face it, Dad is going to smite anybody who worships any other god other than him... in the ten commandments, and backed it up in Isa 45:21 that he is the only god, there are no others, and then suddenly there is a son?

I think its another temptation, don't follow any other gods, oh I just throw my son into the mix and see what these fools make of it. Lets face it If god didn't want us to have knowledge of good and evil, then why did he make a tree that produced fruit that gave somebody such knowledge?

I asked a christian this question and they said, "Man has free will, so God put it there to see if whether or not we would obey him". Well dearest believer, since that particular tree served no other purpose other than as a source of temptation, I deduce that your god is nothing but a sadistic being.

Also, this totally contradicts the popular belief that god doesn't tempt people to do evil (at least that's what Christian say when they talk abou this part of the Lord's prayer: "and lead me not into temptation, but deliver us from evil"). And if god can see the future, then he knew that creating such a tree would produce the results that it did, so he shouldn't have acted so surprised at what Adam and Eve did.

Having thrown us all into chaos once or twice in the past he when and did it again - Sadistic being isn't he, or is it ust the fact that men made this up over a long time, and being men, got it wrong, so one part of the story does not line up with other parts, its a badly written soap opera?

Actually no if you use the REAL definition of the term demigod. "demigod" is often misused as you are doing here. To be a demigod there actually must be two fathers one human and one a god whose seed is mixed in the womb. It signifies double paternity in the original REAL Greek antiquity definition. The double (and not pure) paternity is what makes them a limited or inferior diety.

The view that you are asserting based on misuse of the term demigod was part of gnosticism which held Jesus as "like substance" not "same substance" as God. Tried and rejected in the 300's.

thats what i thought but when i asked which demi god would win in a fight, Jesus or Hercules most said Jesus wasn't a demi god.
i still think by definition he is though, or i would if i believed in god/gods.

If my understanding of the King James version of the Bible is correct then God consisted of the "Holy Trinity". That was God the father, The Holy Spirit, and The son(Jesus). They are all one in the same. The other versions of the Bible have changed over time. For example the original King James version had portions that are now deleat portions lwithin the newer versions like what is needed for a Baptism, and its not even stated as a trinity in the newer versions.

lol...depends on how the christians view it. But yes, your logic is accurate.
When you have a god as a father and a mother as a mortal...you will be a demi-god....if you have to be that at all.

Jesus is the son of God and Mary as you say but that still makes him the son of God.

But we are told in the Bible that when he returns to set up his kingdom for his Father
he will be given 'a name that is above every name'.

He will rule for his Father.

Jesus was a man.
This very important fact is often overlooked.
He had to die as a man in order to answer Satan's challenge to all men.
Jesus was needed to as the perfect sacrifice to replace what Adam had lost.

At no time did Jesus claim to be God.
