If you are at all familiar with the concept of Spiritual Gifts (See I Corinthians 12 for a good overview) you can get a good idea what your calling is. Usually your calling will be in a field that allows you to capitalize on the gifts you have, while not necessitating the gifts you don't have.
Look at your skills and your passions... they are usually a good indicator of the direction you need to go. God does want you to be happy and satisfied, so he won't lead you in a direction where you're not feeling fulfilled. Those impulses that we have should be motivators enough.

That is hard to put into words.
Have you ever had a strong feeling that you left something on at home, such as the iron or the stove? And something tugs at you to back in and check? Or if you have ever had a strong feeling that nags at you that you should call a family member or a friend, so you do. You find out something was wrong, or they really needed to talk to you. Think of something similar to that.
You know that feeling that you had? That's what it feels like. It feels like something you know you have to do, but you aren't sure why you have to do it.
That is very inadequate, but then again, any time one tries to "explain" God it feels inadequate.

Well i was born into a catholic family and went through the motions, if you will of church. I never really knew much about my religion and a few months ago i actually learned that Jesus was God. weird huh? But i had something bothering me. The subject of God would NEVER get off my mind. in class, work, watching tv, anywhere it was non stop my brain thinking about God and i couldnt help it.
Than I figured out if i wanted to find God i needed to just pray to him. For 3 months i watched video on youtube. atheists vs religion, near death experiences etc. I just prayed asking God to send me in the right path, any religion. I studied Islam, Judaism and Christianity again. I was very confused. For some reason i kept going back to the bible. Even if i wanted to say i wont believe this a part of me said you will never not fully stop believing. I prayed more and kept asking the tough questions. I saw videos about the shroud of Jesus, Bible prophecies, Stigmata, personal experiences. I than always had this headache for about 2 days saying "just accept it, you know that it is true. I said a prayer to God telling him "by next week help me find the truth.
I went running one night a week later i was very tired. I started to feel emotional about God, it came out of no where. I finally wanted this feeling 5o go away so i prayed the prayer to accept Jesus in my heart. afterwards I felt at peace
. My heart felt light, as a marshmallow. My head was cleared and I was finally happy. A week later i prayed it again and a rush, a literal rush of energy went throughout my body. I thought, this would never have happened if i didnt pray. no way it would happen naturally. A month later my Grandpa was on the verge of death. He said Satan was talking to him, saying he would be Ok. my mom had some cloth that was blessed by the church and put it on him. It took away all of the demonic forces around him and he was at peace. A week later he died and i never will forget that. Im still learning, but with all the evidence that i have gone through personally, and asking for a week to find the truth opened my eyes completely. Im still researching and trying to strengthen my faith since God will never just show himself to us. I would be lying to myself if i said this wasnt true. Peace (sorry i didnt organize it well, i just went crazy typing =) )
