If we puny humans are too frail and limited in our capicity to comprehend "God" then why would this inconcievably incomprehensible being hold us to account??

Though God is good and God is perfect, everything he creates defies him. Though loved sometimes by those who hate him, and hated sometimes by those who love him, as long as we live we will never be free from changing our minds, our hearts, and our lives.

It is in human nature to put ones trust in divinity being afraid of death and wanting eternal happiness after death.

That is why people believe in religions so that they can feel secured before they die.

Christians don't think for a second that other religions got any less faith or believe in their gods authenticity any less than yours.

My question is whether you Christians actually believe in your religion because of the spiritual sensations from God or is it because of what you have read in the Bible and what you have been exposed to?

If you were to read a book called the Uilible with Gresus as the saviour with very different commandments and principles to follow such as "you shall not pray to me more than once per day or you will not go to heaven" then I bet you Christians would be having no less faith in that then what you have for your Bible and Jesus.

Therefore I say your faith is blind and delusional as whatever fairytale claimed as real could convince you.

This is a bit of trivia for you. Do you know what scripture this is?

For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.

And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.

Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.

Are school buses a revolt against god? How about Kraft Singles? Those little ends on shoelaces called aglets?

Who was subserviant to whom? Was this the first form of sexism when they got rid of Lilith out of the bible because of this or do people understand who and what she stood for?

it seems to me that many christians in this forum are coming around to accepting the theory of evolution as the best explanation for how man and other life forms got here. this became apparent to me over the last few questions i asked. if you're a christian and you still think evolution is a lie, i'm curious to know what branch of christianity you follow.

Everything in life can be contradicted, and when I mean everything I mean EVERYTHING !!! So why do we believe there is logic to our everyday life, values, ideas, creation, etc...
After-all gold is just a rock, the bible just a book, and man just a program.

leave Jesus hanging on the cross in all their wall crosses and their jewlery, etc? He's always on the cross. Don't they know he came off that cross, died and rose again? He said IT IS FINISHED and he meant it.

I was reading the book of John when I came across this verse.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgement unto the son. (John 5:22)

So my understanding of this verse is that Jesus will be our judge on judgement day. Another words, God will retire and give Jesus the responsiblity of dealing with humanity.

Is this correct? If so what will God's role in heaven be after judgement day? Does this also mean that it will be Jesus who makes the rules instead of God?

Religion makes moral demands on us and Christianity ask that we move outside of ourselves and consider first the welfare of the other person.
The Atheist I wanna suggest is chaffing under the moral rules of Christianity, ultimately he realizes that a life lived according to the Ten commandments is a life in which we are accountable.
Atheist's hate the idea that our actions are ultimately accountable, that even the things we do in private are under scrutiny and being recorded, Atheism is a massive rebellion against that, but it disguises itself as moving along the strict pathways of reason.
It's not a intellectual revolt, it's a moral revolt.
Each breath they take is a sin, there great error is immorality which is a abomination of proportions we cannot begin to fathom at this juncture.
God Bless
