I think that "man" is actually "mankind" -- therefore both men and women fall into that definition. There is also the saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder -- there are many who would say men are "hotter" than women... but at the end of the day - both are essentially created the same - just a few key differences!
Remember that Eve was created from Adam's rib - so if you don't feel like "mankind" is what is meant by "man"... then you still have the fact that women were made from man, who was made in God's image... so you can see that women were made in God's image no matter which argument you use.
Either way you look at it - I believe the ladies will appreciate your comment.

That is so sweet, but sometimes it isn't true.
I know some women who may look hot, but as soon as they open their mouths ice forms on u, I turn around and run.
Then I have some friends who don't look hot, but let them talk to u for five min. and u see they r truly hot.
I think a lot of men r hot, but the same thing happens.
Like the Rock, then my son tells me he saw him in Vegas hitting on a young chick that wasn't his wife. Man what a bummer.
I also liked Harrison Ford, until I found out he was a conscientious objector, I got no problem with that except, he plays the parts of war heroes or brave fighter rescuing the world.

"Man" was created in God's image. As in the human race, not males.
Also, assuming that this statement has anything to do with the physical is a bit on the shallow side.

God's image doesn't mean what you are thinking. It may mean that Humans have
1. Feelings of Mercy like God
2. Feelings of Anger like God
3. Wisdom like God
4. Intelligence like God but not enough like God
5. powerful like God
6. may have patience like God has
7. softness of heart like God has
8. Inventor and creator like God
9, healer like God
you can think of more God's virtues to add more.
Men and women are made different necause man is made to implant sperm in woman's body but her body has to develop it into a complete baby in 9 months. Therefore God has made her little different biologically.
But both man and woman are made in the image of God
simply means they have qualities like God to some degree.

I have seen guys that are much more attractive than girls though. Its annoying how the men in my family are much better looking than the girls are. Makes me feel like a mole.
