OK this doesn't really belong in the R&S section, but I got no responses in the games section and there are loads more people here, so I apologize for breaking the rules, but my bro needs answers, lol, anyway

My little brothers making some RPG thingy with something he downloaded and he hasn't got a Y!A account so he needed me to ask. He is stuck on what races and classes/jobs to use, any ideas?

Thanks!

(Please don't report me, lol)

If you have specifics let me know, my son is VERY good at those things.

From Kage Ryuu(my son): I would say that for classes/jobs you should have Rangers, Warriors, Knights, Mages: white, black, shadow, light, red, and blue, and Clerics like was said before. For races you should have Werebeasts of practically all species, Kitsunes, Cat people, Draconions(Half-Dragons), and many others, also look up mythical beasts if you are looking for monsters, plus look in wikipedia for info. You can also define the classes even more by using races for example: elvan ranger, draconion warrior
Send an email if you want more info.

I can tell you Lin characters LOL
Dark Elves
Mage/Melee
With in Melee you have archers, daggers, dual swords
With your mages yu have casters, healers, and summoners
Light elves, Orcs, Humans and dwarves. You have the same classes with in those races except for humans. They have "light" classes and "dark" classes.
Dark Elves hit the hardest, Light elves move the fastest, humans ride the middle. Dwarves are crafters and spoilers (get your mats) and orcs are just freaking insanely awesome until they get nerfed. Boooo.
Yeah mostly JR Tolkien

nicely, first it relies upon on what form of putting the RPG is going to be. Is it going to be a myth putting? Sci-Fi? modern-day? Gothic? a mix of any of those? Assuming the RPG might ensue in a "known" myth putting, indexed under are my concepts: training: Warrior, Magician, Thief, Cleric/Healer, Dragoon/Spearman, Summoner (or somebody who summons creatures), Ninja/murderer, Ranger, martial artist/monk, and Engineer (a individual who might desire to apply gun-like weapons?). Races: Human (of direction, your generic "all arounder" race), Elf (mystical), Hobbit/Halfling (speedy, yet no longer that solid), Dwarf (solid, yet sluggish), dragons, and wolfmen.

WHAT GAME?

UPDATE:

Thinking about your Q, I realize your bro is making his own RPG. The races he selects would be wholly based on the world he imagines. ie: if the game world is 19th C. Romania, you'd be able to choose between humans, vampires, werewolves, and the like. If the game world is something like a Star Wars universe, you'd include humans, wookies, jawas, sandpeople, twileks, etc.

Once your bro decides what "universe" his game is set in, the races he defines will be self-explanatory.

Pleased to meet you.

Elves, dark elves, gnomes, orcs, humans, halflings

mages, clerics, necromancers, rangers, warriors, knights, paladins, bards, thieves, anti-paladins

those are some REALLY basic ones.

If he wants to go for the most powerful core character, go for a cleric or a druid.

For races, just be a human. They're pretty good at everything.

Stock Tolkien-like characters are always popular- elves, dwarves, trolls, goblins, etc.

And Entwives...yeah...gotta include the entwives!! =]

believe not every spirit , but test the spirits whether they are of God , because many false prophets are gone out into the world
