Darwin, as we all know, did not recant on his death bed. But, for argument's sake, let's assume he did.

I always see at least a few believers in this section, feeling almost proud of how their particular god managed to lure Darwin over to the religious side.

This assumes that a god would be so silly to accept death bed conversions, for one. It also assumes that specially Christianity uses such horrible fear-tactics, that people even consider converting to it during their last breath. A person dying in pure fear, that's obviously Christianity's goal when being proud of death bed conversions.

Assuming Darwin recanted during his last breath, what's up with the proud smiles of believers when mentioning this, really? I honestly fail to see it, so please explain.

Does it make evolution less valid? Or does it simply show the horrible fear-tactics Christianity uses to even ruin a person's last breath?

WHY (GOD) WOULD NEED HIS SON OR HIMSELF OR BOTH (SINCE CHRISTIANS R MOST CONFUSED PPL) TO BE CRUCIFIED WHY NOT WITHOUT HIM HE PARDONED THE PPL?
& WHY HE SENTS US ON EARTH AND NOT SENT US STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN?

Why humans are here in this world, then there is no need for God to sent us on Earth, & let us wait for him to come & die for our sins. What is the reason why we are here?

God is sooooooooooooo powerful God does not 'NEED to come and die' for anything, y u always degrade God?

“CHRISTIANS” DEGRADE GOD BY SAYING THAT GOD ALMIGHTY CAN’T MAKE MEN STRONG ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM SELF GOOD ENOUGH TO ENTER HEAVEN.

CHRISTIANS WANT ESCAPE ROUTE FOR HEAVEN DESPITE DOING CRIMES, IT WILL NOT HAPPENED B/C GOD CAN’T DO INJUSTICE.

Christian faith = Believing in someone {Jesus (pbuh)} else death will give them absolution. I WONDER HOW.

I want clear & categoric answers.Thank You.

I understand the opposition to evolution, but why the Big Bang? Big Bang theory doesn't say "something came from nothing". In fact, the theory says absolutely nothing about what originally caused it, or even what happened at that exact moment. There's nothing about it that rules out the possibility of a creator being there at the start. If you want to accept Big Bang theory and believe in a creator at the same time, you certainly can. Theists, why are some of you so opposed to it?

(Let me add that I'm not asking religious people who just think that the Big Bang didn't happen; I'm asking religious people who think that the Big Bang COULDN'T have happened. "Why not?" is my question. Thanks in advance.)

I'm not by any means judging, but I see this mentioned many times and I was wondering if someone could point me to the scripture that discusses this. This in particular caught my curiosity.

Thanks in advance!

Do you feel sad knowing that you/your kids will never attend Hogwart's Academy because you don't believe the Harry Potter tales are true accounts of English life?

No?

Then do you seriously expect nonbelievers to be sad about "missing out on heaven" when they don't even believe in any such place?

He relies on evidence, reason, experimentation, the scientific method, proof, science, logic and mathematics when he's in the lab... and abandons it all when reading the Bible.

1. Mary had sexual intercourse with God the Father
False we believe in the Virgin birth. God is the Father but he didn't have sexual relations with Mary.
Quotes from Brigham Young and Bruce R McConkie have said to suggest this myth but none of those quotes says sexual relations were made and both believe in the virgin birth.
2. Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.
False Lucifer will not have a physical body so he won't be a brother of anybody.
Jesus is the only begotten of the Father by his power.
3. Joseph Smith was the only one to see the golden plates.
False 3 witnesses testified that the Angel Moroni showed them plates and they held them in their hands and kept testifying until they died even after leaving the church.
8 witnesses testified that they held the plates in their hands and they too kept testifying this until they died.
There will be more mythbusting soon.
To all the antimormons out there, I can't change your minds but please tell the truth about us.

When push comes to shove which do you believe has more authority the Bible or your church/religious denomination? Which do you favor when/if a contradiction was to arise?

I already have my own belief concerning this question, so I am simply seeking what others think. I encourage Non-believers to put in their two cents by sharing what they think it should be or any thoughts they have concerning the question in general.
