This crossed my mind this morning, reading all the questions about the ethics of abortion, so here's my question-

Premature babies - so premature that they would have died if born even 50 years ago - should excessive means be taken to keep these children alive? What if the family in question is on medicare and that money is coming out of your taxes? What if keeping that child alive financially ruins a family and they cannot recover?

Now what about adults? If someone is technically brain dead, but a machine keeps them breathing and fed, is it a kindness to them to hold them in their bodies? For those who believe in souls - are you doing that soul any favors by NOT allowing them to die?

Where do you stand on this? I know I asked a lot of questions; please do try to address them all if you can - and without scripture if possible - I'd like to see your own minds work, not get proof you can read and copy/paste.

I just asked what is probably my funniest question ever and it didn't post.

I love this question because changing that one little letter changes the meaning of three words.

Therefore, when atheist attack Christianity using moral indignation over the slaughter that took place in Numbers 31, isn't that ironic? Your views please.

I just saw this bumper sticker, and thought it was kinda funny....

How many people become such religious zealots, that they lose sight of God. How many people have their eyes focused on man and man's religion, and man's religious texts...and not on God....

Your thoughts.

Lets see, movies/books people have ruined on R&S:
Golden Compass
Eragon
Harry Potter(ALL OF THEM)
George R. R. Martins Tale of Fire and Ice
just about every other fantasy and movie/book that contains a religious belief.

Protestants claim that the Catholic church is not practicing Christianity as Christ had intended. That there are many Pagen influences in the practices of the Church. What do they base this belief on? I havent found any historical proof to support this claim. All documents held by the Church show that the Church of Rome is doing everything that Christ taught his Apostles. Is there any evidence to support the non Catholic claims?

heres a better definition.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
-First Amendment to the United States Constitution

So, lets just stop with the
christians>Atheists and
atheists>christians
Muslims>all
Christians>all
and Pagans>all
and whatever other religions you can think of, and before the atheists complain that atheism is not a religion, I KNOW THAT, so dont shoot me down okay?

The only reason im putting this here is because this is USA (at least where i live) and http://music.aol.com/video/why-cant-we-be-friends/smash-mouth/1346530

ruption; are you going to stand by them up, because of your personal healing, victory, or favor from God you received because of a prayer prayed or word of God preached from these leaders in these ministries?

Personally, CNN last night was kind of slanderous of these people who gave up all to serve the Lord & because the Lord has blessed them 100X in this life as the Lord promised to those who gave up all to serve Him.

Can your agree in prayer with me that God will make clear if accusations are true or false or exagerated & if guilt is there, who is guilty? And to pray for these Ministers of faith in Christ & the power of the cross; that they count it all blessing when they are persecuted for Christ righteousness sake & because God blesses them 100fold?

I keep reading comments on this site which claim that spiteful things are written in the Talmud.

Now, I know that the people claiming this are just a silly minority. But I'm also interested in finding out; do non Jews know precisely what the Talmud is?

No offence whatsoever intended; I'm just curious :)

Thanks for your time in answering!

Follow me here. Some sin is enjoyable which is why we can't stop sinning. (sex drugs rock n roll) I understand these temptations don't exist in heavan. so why if you get into heaven will you not be allowed free will to enjoy what you enjoyed on earth. WIll we be forced to live in a pure state in heavan? and if so what's so heavenly about that? If the answer is yes because we wont be tempted to sin then weve lost our free will. What would you use free will for in heaven anyway? It seems to me that free will is more of a curse. I could do without that gift if it meant I could get into heaven without worrying about my soul all the time. Why can't I use my free will to give back my free will?

Psalm 53:1 **The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.** Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, **Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.**

Are the people who embrace the former, but ignore the latter "not real Christians"?

And who exactly is on the "Not A Real Christian" committee?
