The stairway is just a metaphor as Heaven is as close as the air you breath and as far away as the furthest star. Once you start to climb the stairway you leave this world for another. It is a transition from life to eternal life with God.

It's as wide as the sky. But the catch is the stair treads won't carry any real weight and the stair rail turns out to be just another collection box.

You think it is a joke? No, it is not. Kamal Pasha Ataturk of Turkey had detained Mullahs ordering them to build ladder from a mountain top to the heaven. I don't have the reference to authenticate my statement.

It's only as big as you believe it to be. If your beliefs are limited, it's probably so big you'll think you can't ever climb it. If you are open to truth, you'll enjoy it every step of the way.

It's at least one step greater than anyone could ever climb... there is no heaven. It's an unreachable fantasy, (...and it's especially rough for dead guys to get there since the average dead guy seems to be rather lacking in energy for stair climbing.)

It depends on if you have the LP, cassette, or CD version. I have it on CD, so it's about a 6 inch diameter.
LOL...sometimes I crack myself up.
