Amen!
We are supposed to be focused on God. Reading the Bible is great, but you also need to pray and communicate and have a relationship with God. Something beyond, "Oh, I read the Bible and it says X" and believe that's enough. Or, "I go to church" and that's enough.
God is our Father and we should be focused on Him. Not on how much money we can get in His name, but on knowing Him.

I think it is critical I would not want it on my car. There are alot better things to think about than critiquing everyone. When I was younger I had a meager salary and I bought expensive bibles and had peoples names put on the front and gave them as gifts to some girls that were being mean to me. After that they wanted to be friends I talked to them about Jesus and they started a relationship with him like I had.We have been good friends for years.Back then my dad told me not to buy those bibles because everyone would think I was nuts. He said he had some VA patients who did stuff like that. I did not listen because I am nuts for Jesus. I think the bumper sticker would be misconstrued and would not help anyone to change if they were not walking in love but in religiosity. God has to work that out for them.

From my observations as someone who's belief system is diametrically opposed to most if not all things religious...I'd say that anyone who labels themselves a Christian by definition has lost sight of "God" (assuming there is one). What I mean is that they believe in Christ first than God...It's more Son, Father than Holy Spirit. What a crock of bleeping, bleep...The world would be a far better place if we could agree to disagree and move along respectfully. PEACE!

I would be labeled a heretic in most churches simply because i have an open mind. i find truth in many places and texts, i listen to the "holy spirit" when it speaks, and i believe in tithing service rather than money. when narrow minded automotons start spouting flawed dogma, i get bugged, but i dont argue with them,...i mean what's the use in having a battle of wits with an unarmed person????

No one can say with any certainty how many. You are trying to make an objective assessment of a subjective issue.
I say everyone is entitled to believe what they want even if it conflicts with what I believe or think.
When someone elses' actions based on their religious or spiritual beliefs infringe on my non belief in religion then I have a problem.

You asked, "how many" and the number is probably in the millions. And if you count other religions besides Christians then it is in the billions.

It's not so much about God as it is Christ. How many of us get so involved with hwat we are doing that we forget our RELATIONSHIP with Christ. That's what it is. To love Christ and spend time in prayer and in the Word with him! It's more than religion its being spiritual!

Amen.
God lives within all of us, regardless of your beliefs. It is a shame that some hate and even kill in the name of a loving God.
