Why is the European Pope so anti-Christian?

Recently the European Pope complained about the rising number of Christian Churches/Evangelical Churches in South America.

Ge 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"

I know the word "know" can mean "understand" or "experience or partake of." But it must mean "understand" here, because God says "become like one of Us." If it means experience or partake, then God would be experienceing or partaking of evil.

Any ideas?

Whether or not it's true, do you think it's reasonable to require physical or demonstrable evidence of God? And rational to think such evidence has not been found? Is it logical to accept as true what modern science has shown?

If so, do you think it is unreasonable that people with this view should be punished eternally?

I found, from studying all versions & perversions of the bible, an Authorized KJV (not RCC nor Protestant perversions) is best for study of biblical allegory, solving mysteries thereof; which is like navigating through the ultimate matrix, with lots of mirrored phrases and twists to the mystery, especially near the end, already written.

I use a pre 1900 KJV simply called Holy Bible, which is neither RCC nor Protestant versions of KJV. It contains an Epistle Dedicatory of Bible Translators, but not Apocrypha. Epistle Dedicatory notes Translators were traduced & maligned by Roman Catholics & Protestants, likely printed their own KJVs.

KJV is translated from 6 bibles already written, is 7th bible, as one made better from 6 good; In the fashion God saw good x6, very good 7th time in Genesis 1. I find no dangerous helps in the KJV.

I find it easier to search phrases, previous mention of such, in the KJV, than in any other version.

What are your thoughts on the Authorized KJV

Okay, this is my dream. I was walking with a bucket of water. Inside the bucket of water were some small fish and they were just swimming around. Then, some of the small fish jumped out of the bucket. The fish did not look like regular fish, but they had faces almost like people in a cartoonish sort of way. The fish that fell on the ground started saying bad things about me like..."Who does He think he is?, He is a phony and a fake, Can you believe what he said about my religion". They were very offended. The fish just kept going on with there many bad comments. So, I walked back and picked up some of the fish and put them back in the bucket of water. There were some that I tried to pick up, but they rolled through and fell through the cracks in the wooden platform I was standing on. I could not reach them. I saw them laying in the dirt with earthworms crawling around them. They were still talking bad. What do you think?

I have recently been reading about the Native American Lakota and have found that I believe their spirituality is on a more harmonious path with the teachings of Christ than the catholic/lutheran religions of my upbringing. I still believe there is only one God and that the Lakota and the Christians worship the same "Great Spirit", but I think many christians have lost their way and even though Jesus was sent to put them back on track they have missed his message. Am I wrong about this? Opinions please.

If the Bible was composed by men, was the New Testament written by the original catholic-orthodox Christians whose designated successors lead the Catholic and Orthodox churches? If they were not Orthodox or Catholic, what church did they belong to?

Why can't we treat the aethiests and agnostics and all other people with dignity and respect? I am a christian. You have seen my posts. But I would like to know why you can't be kind to them when it is clearly the calling of Christ to be kind to your neighbor and to model Christ to them. What is it you hope to achieve with the bashing? (Yes this is a serious question.)

It is marvelous that we can amaze God in a good way. We can amaze God through our steadfast Faith. Belief in Him and the actions we take to show Him our belief compose the Faith Jesus seeks from us. If our Faith is outstanding, we may even amaze God Himself.

Jesus is depicted as marveling (or being amazed) in two parts of the Bible. One was the centurion whose faith was that all is subject to Jesus as his own soldiers were subject to him. (Lk7:2-10) The other was when there was no belief in His own home town. (Mk6:1-6) Both of these instances show God Himself being in a state of wonder; the first being a wonderful state of amazement.

If your Faith instills a sense of wonderful amazement in God, do you suppose He may even sing a hymn to you?
