It is because society as a whole has become desensitized. There are things that we accept as OK that 50 years ago would have never been tolerated. We accept profanity on prime TV as OK. Casual relationships have become the norm. Maybe it is simply that in most households both parents need to work and someone else is raising their kids. We can blame it on many things but it all comes back to people choose to be who they are.

"their integrity" not "there integrity"

Why are you so pessimistic about the people in the world?

Lots of people are honest, good people with sound values and they can be found all around the world in every culture, faith and status.

If you keep projecting an evil world, full of enemies, woe, suffering, then that is exactly the kind of world you will experience on a constant basis.

Start surrounding yourself with positivity and uplifting and inspiratonal examples of people and emulate it yourself and suddenly the world is full of promise.

It is partly due to the times we are living. It is the last days of this wicked system. Satan is down here knowing his days of freedom and life are numbered. The only thing he can do to fight back is take as many humans with him as possible.

Ephesians 4:17-32 shows people to be "passed all moral sense, in darkness mentally, insensibility of their hearts" as the reason for lack of integrity.

I'm not sure how this is a religious question.

The rising population results in more populous concentrations, which makes it easier to move on if one is not trustworthy and establish a new social network. In businesses, we deal with anonymous strangers.

I think you will find more integrity in small-village environments, because lack of it is noticed by the tight community and harder to overcome. In small town business, you get to know your customers. No one is anonymous except the visitor.

When have people ever had _all_ of their integrity? Is this a hearken back to the past that lives only in conservative's minds where everything was perfect?

It was prophesied to be the way in the end of days. Men would be lovers of themselves, proud, disobedient, unholy, unthankful, having a form of godliness but denying the power there of. There is no room for integrity or godliness which is exactly why he's coming back...soon.

You'd think that since the per centile of Christians to atheist, is a lot bigger, there would be all kinds of integrity.
So, just exactly where is all that good ''christian influence'?
I know that atheists are responsible for their own behavior, and take credit for the good, as well, as the bad, so I know 'we' have integrity.it's important to us, as we don't believe in any 'mythical person' to bail us out, with 'redemption.
Do what you want to, and then repent.?
Doesn't work that way.

I have much integrity. I'm sorry to hear you have none, but I'm not surprised to find that out, judging by some of your previous questions.
