If you are asking if we believe Moses parted the red sea I would say yes. But not without the power of GOD, and of course the people who helped hold up his arms. Moses was the willing vessel used by God and the Staff was simply the instrument used by Moses to carry out God's plan. Moses acted only in the up most of Faith in God. In those time believers were not blessed with the infilling of the Holy Spirit so they acted only according to their faith. But because of what took place on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus Christ entered into man and now operates as comforter and guide so we can carry out God's plan even the more. Thank God for the Holy spirit couldn't make it without him. Props to Moses.

No it was a serpent. Don't you remember when he turned it form a staff into a snake? A common magic trick of the day.

When Moses needed water in the desert he didn't just use his staff to find it, he hit a rock to create a spring.

It was an ordinary rod. The power that Moses displayed through his word and the rod was from God. Moses's rod could do whatever God wanted it to do. God is God after all.
