Randy and Paula White, Benny Hinn, David and Joyce Meyer, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Bishop Eddie Long, Creflo and Taffi Dollar are all being scrutinized by Senator Chuck Grassley for possible improprieties.

The big winner so far has to be Joyce Meyer, who (according to the Jefferson County, MO assessor's office) has a $23,000 marble-topped commode in her ministry's headquarters. One has to wonder how many needy people could have been helped with $23,000.

What are the tax-exempt reasons for some of these lavish acquisitions?

There's a story that he traviled to the Himilayas to study with Hindu and Buddhist preasts. Some say he returned there after the "resurection."

Where does this story come from and what is the evidence for it?

The last while I have grown very aware of the importance that other "things" have in my life, other than God. It is very upsetting, because God is meant to be first, and I always have a person on my mind. When I wake up, during the day, at night, I can't get him out of mind. And he's shadowing God in my life. What must I do?

Let's say you buy a package of gum. You give the vendor $10. The vendor gives you some change. Do you check to see that you have been given the correct change and not been ripped off? Do you look for physical proof that you are being given what you are anticipating to be true? Or do you have faith that you have been given what you believe to be true?

Belief and faith will only take you so far, and almost always lead you astray and you'll be ripped off.

Then why, for the sake of common sense, do you not seek for real proof, real truth, behind some antiquated god-claim much higher in apparent value than a paltry few dollars? How can you put so much trust in an ancient belief system when you must, on a daily basis, actually see the "little stuff" with your own eyes before you will accept it? Doesn't this contradiction seem wrong to anybody else?

And don't use the lame "the bible tells me so" answer. That falls in the same category.

I was always taught to think that Jesus was God's son and have always wondered how anyone could allow their child, their ONLY child, to suffer so much for the sins of others (us). I've just never gotten that and now that I have a child myself I know that I would first die than to have anyone hurt my child so I just don't get why God would allow his only son to suffer so much. If you don't believe in God then please don't answer with He wasn't real. I would like answers from those of you who really believe in Him and that believe that Jesus was his son.

I happen to believe that the concept of a creator and evolution are not mutually exclusive, but for those who do, how do you explain strains bacteria that are essentially evolving before our eyes and mutating so rapidly that new drug-resistant strains are created?

Or is this phenomenon a lie perpetrated by pagan scientists?

Is there any one book in particular that you have found that has cemented your non belief in God. If so, please share which one(s) have had a big influence on your stance.

I'm not interested in hearing "i don't need any books, I just know....." I'm interested ONLY in books that might've swayed you.....

thanks

Why do Muslims reject the existence of a Jewish homeland?? Why are Muslims so opposed to acknowledging Israel?

"Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat on Monday rejected Israel's demand that the Palestinians acknowledge Israel as a Jewish state." [1]

By contrast, Israel is perfectly willing to accept a Palestinian state so long as Israel is recognized by Palestinians.

“A senior official in the Prime Minister's Office said in response that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert insists that the Palestinians recognize Israel's Jewish identity, as a condition for Israeli recognition of a Palestinian state.” [1]

Erekat offered this astonishingly absurd justification: "There is no country in the world where religious and national identities are intertwined," Erekat told Radio Palestine.” [1]
