I think it's possible. Just not the idea of God the world has. Maybe a great creater, a supreme being, a higher power. Although I don't believe there is a possibiltity of heaven or hell or any of that nonsense.

Sure, the theory of one being creating all there is and even himself is a possibility, just not in the universe I live in. Now, if you were to say that there was a being that was more powerful than man, but wasn't all powerful, then I'd agree with you that there is a possibility of such a being existing in our reality, depending on the other details you attached to this theory. If you attached the words "bible" or "koran" or "Tanakh" to such an entity, then the answer would be no. I can't argue with deists, because their belief in god(s) is not attached to rules that make such a being impossible. Organized religions, on the other hand...
Edit: bigvol662004, let me explain to you the difference between an atheist, agnostic and believer.
atheist: I don't believe that there are any gods.
agnostic: I don't know if there are or aren't any gods.
believer: I know that my god(s) is/are real.***
Now, let's put that in terms that may be easier for you to understand by substituting the word "gods" for something else:
Atheist: I don't believe that people spontaneously change into unicorns in the middle of the night.
Agnostic: I don't know if people spontaneously change into unicorns in the middle of the night or not.
Believer: It happens, if you have faith, you'll turn into a unicorn in the middle of the night.*****
To further elaborate:
Atheist: There's never been a confirmed case of anyone ever spontaneously changing into a unicorn in the middle of the night, so even though there may be the tiniest possibility of it having happened or even happening in the future, all the evidence points to this simply not being true.
Agnostic: I don't know if people spontaneously change into unicorns in the middle of the night or not.
Believer: I have no proof that it's ever happened, but it says right here in this book of truth that it happens all the time, and I have faith that it is true.******
Does this clarify it for you?

I think it's a possibility too. I don't believe in the way most religions view god and we have no proof of a god either.
I am almost an atheist but I'm open-minded to the possibility of something out there that we cannot see. I've had some weird supernatural experiences. So I'm agnostic (as in, not sure if there's a god, nor do I feel you need to worship one). But I'm not a fan of most religions.

I think that God is a nonsensical concept, so no. As long as people refuse to solve theodicy in a decent way (the problem of evil/free will) there is no point in even considering it. True, some monotheists have a clear notion of god, but those are so various that to use a capital G for one of them would be very arbitrary.
You seem to be an agnostic atheist, as in somebody who thinks there is no God but isn't sure. Personally I think there is no all good all knowing all powerful God just like there is no square triangle.

I'm not an atheist, for I do believe in God. However, I'd like to point out there a true atheist cannot believe even in the POSSIBILITY of God's existence without some sort of "conversion experience". Therefore, a person who believes in the POSSIBILITY of God's existence is at least an agnostic, not an atheist.

Nobody can be certain of anything. The difference is however, that science doesn't PRETEND to have all the answers.
Science and reason are based evidence, and ideas are constantly being updated as new evidence becomes apparent. We can't DISPROVE God, but that doesn't mean he exists. There's plently of things that science can't disprove. It's really a case of probability, based on our current knowlege and evidence... and it's really down to this probabily that, as atheists, we do not believe in God.

Of course it's a possibility. In fact I would say that even an agnostic notion that it can't be proven is presumptuous. I think if you accept that anything is possible then of course you have to accept it's also possible to prove it.
But we can't say all claims are equal or require the same level of evidence to prove them. If I were to say I have a penny in one pocket and an invisible elf dragon in the other - which would require more evidence for you to accept?

A herd of two-headed purple unicorns at the center of Antarctica is a possibility...but I find it highly unlikely, have seen no evidence to make me even consider their existence, and thus, don't believe in their existence.
Same with any gods.

Possible, but highly unlikely, given that here is no evidence.
Edit: Agnosticism is compatible with atheism, people. I don't believe in gods (atheist) but I'm not 100% sure they don't exist (agnostic) along with fairies, dragons and unicorns.
