Romans 12
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
3 Because of the privilege and authority[c] God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.[d] 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
It is our responsibility to keep our body, spirit, and soul refreshed from the enemies grasp by keeping it on or near God. If you have trouble staying with him, keep your eyes in the word, and honor the law of the land and your job.

I think it is very important to meditate on the things of God. Are we able to do that all the time? I don't think so, but I think we are able to become a better Christian if we allow more of the Godly things in than the worldly. Isn't that what we are supposed to do, try to become more like Him? So the answer has to be yes.

There is nothing "wrong" with secular entertainment. Bear in mind though, that the things with which you feel your heart and mind ultimately manifest themselves in your life. (Garbage in-garbage out) It's not a concept for Christians alone. It's a law of the Universe
Brightest Blessings.

What we listen to can influence us as what we read can also.
What we watch can deaden us to the spiritual things of God.

If you were to listen, read and watch things outside your closed world religious view. You may actually learn something. And your relationship with the Sky Fairy may cease to be.
