No, because in order to believe that there's some kind of cosmic tally being kept you have to believe in a cosmic tally-keeper. Isn't that just logical? I'm an atheist, so I believe in no deities whatsoever.
However, I DO believe that we get out of life what we put into it, so I believe very strongly in helping others, supporting those who need it, and doing all I can to make the world a better place. I don't believe that this stores up some kind of cosmic reward for me - I just do it because it makes *my* life better and more meaningful, in the here-and-now. :)

I do believe that there are consequences for all our actions in life. Even if we don't see them directly they may affect us or our children or future generations. I believe in karma in a naturalistic way though, I don't know about it in the sense of karma from past lives, but the negative things we do to each other and the planet may affect our children so that is also karma. Even just being nasty to someone you never see again can ripple outward in the way they in turn see the world and interact with someone else. No one can see all the possible implications of that.

Yes, to an extent. If someone does something crappy, and then later something crappy happens to him, that could be seen as karma, but it's more likely coincidence. Meanwhile, some really horrible people get to live long, healthy lives while some very good folks die much too soon. No karma going on there.

I believe that this is true;
The End
Writer, lead vocal: Paul McCartney
Oh yeah, all right
Are you going to be in my dreams
Tonight?
And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make
Call it karma or god is a pink cow with a tutu
We all have a different perspective and opinion, organized religion uses these for its' own purposes.
True believers in a good exists in every thing have no doubts.

Yes, but I don't call it Karma. But I do think what goes around comes around.

I wouldn't label it Karma, but I believe what goes around comes around. Eventually.

Yes. You asked the question, after all! :)
Just kidding. My husband insists that I refer to it as "bread cast upon the waters" but "karma" is just fewer syllables.
