I think the words of Jesus qualify as dictation: "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works." John 14:10
The Bible was written by men, but inspired by God. That is, God revealed himself to men and they in turn revealed what they knew of God. The early Christian community had received the Spirit of God to guide and lead them into all truth and they had beheld the Son of God among them. Their writings will express a much more accurate knowledge of God due to the revelation of Christ and the presence of God's Spirit. The church was the fellowship of believers during this time. Catholic just means universal, indicating believers were found among every tribe and nation. Orthodox refers to the accepted, traditional faith. There was no other Christian Church but the one founded by Christ upon Cephas - Peter, the rock, until Martin Luther began to cast his stones.

The text fabric you have an pastime in is two Timothy 3:sixteen. My Bible, the stable information Bible, says, "All Scripture is inspired by making use of God ... ". it is likewise important to no longer build a beginning place on in basic terms one verse from the Bible. I used to have faith the 1st component to your question, yet my opinion at present is largely the 1st with a number of the 2d, this is, God gave particular human beings a undeniable present which enabled them to jot down down the texts interior the way he needed. additionally, you could desire to endure in innovations that unlike at present, the classic texts had to be copied by making use of hand and have been written interior the nearby language. The Jews and Christians have been very careful with the copying, yet nonetheless, small blunders do seem to have crept in, and that i don't be attentive to what the approach become if a guy or woman interpreting a text fabric believed a mistake in copying were made. besides, a small quantity of meaning is misplaced for the time of translation. with regard to taking actually or the point, there is often debate in this difficulty. It relies upon plenty on what the text fabric is approximately. a chum as quickly as advised me that she in no way took a text fabric on this is very own, she could study 2 paragraphs above and below the text fabric in question. My modern perception is you ought to verify a topic matter with what Jesus stated interior the Gospels and what the different New testomony writers (surprisingly St Paul) say on the venture. working example, ought to Christian adult men placed on hats? in case you're bald and this is an exceedingly sunny day then God could assume you to placed on a hat!

Primoa19 is correct. 39 men were used as secretaries. Proof of this is in the 1,500 years it took to write, the overall theme is the same--to exhault God's name, Jehovah (as in the KJV Psalms 83:18) So is the lack of contradictions despite what naysayers wish.
These men always spoke the truth even when it was not flattering. Today, someone writing an autobiography only mentions things in their lives casting them in a good light, burying the bad. These men told the good and the weaknesses and bad. Because of such integrity, we can have confidence in what they wrote.

It was neither. It was INSPIRED through the Holy Spirit. Men wrote it, and their writting style is clear in their God;s Word!
Similarly YA believers are INSPIRED through the Holy Spirit, but we are not so goo that our words should be taken as "gospel".
All power to G_d!

Just as Moses did not author the Ten Commandments, the New Testament is authored by the Holy Spirit, working through men.
Also....Respectfully, Christ said go and make disciples of all nations, not go and make Catholics of all nations. Therefore, all who follow Him, from all walks of life and all denominations of Christianity, are given the opportunity to be used by Him in the earth to glorify God. And He said of them, "streams of living water" will flow from within them...

It does not present itself as fiction. However, the nonfiction is not all related to ordinary consensual reality as today's materialists experience it. I think the shifts in context that seem outlandish to many were easily recognized by contemporaries, as they were aligned with a divination-oriented culture, and familiar with methodology and practice of mediums.

There is only one true chruch. That is the body of Jesus Christ. It is composed of those who are born again, by the Spirit. Members of this true church, reside in many areas of the world, they worship together in various assemblies of differing sizes.
The ones who, inspired by God, wrote the NT were members of this church.
They were not members of the Roman Catholic church. It did not exist at that time. Each church was a seperate entitiy and had its own leaders, much like the protestant churches today. Espically independent churchs.

If the Bible in it's various versions contains items of historically proven fact it stands to reason that MEN wrote it. Only men would chronicle history...stories of their existence and being.

Think it through logically. The Bible has writers/authors that compiled both facts and stories. Therefore, yes, it is composed by men not God.
