ruption; are you going to stand by them up, because of your personal healing, victory, or favor from God you received because of a prayer prayed or word of God preached from these leaders in these ministries?

Personally, CNN last night was kind of slanderous of these people who gave up all to serve the Lord & because the Lord has blessed them 100X in this life as the Lord promised to those who gave up all to serve Him.

Can your agree in prayer with me that God will make clear if accusations are true or false or exagerated & if guilt is there, who is guilty? And to pray for these Ministers of faith in Christ & the power of the cross; that they count it all blessing when they are persecuted for Christ righteousness sake & because God blesses them 100fold?

Do you know that if your are wrong (because you lean on your own understanding & not ask Jesus in prayer) that you are part of those who are persecuting ministers who are obeying Gods call in their life? I personally know people who have been healed mentally, physically or spiritually by these ministries. Including myself.

David, If you received a gift vallued in the $1000s, & the giver maybe got it for much less $, would you return it, sell it or use it? What if Jesus told you to use it that it is a gift?

LJ, I heard personally from others who were miraculously healed at a Benny Hinn thing & through the TV. They kept their healing. The most powerful, was a lady in our women of hope bible study that had a crippling disease. God had a divine apointment for her. She went out of town to Benny Hinns preaching. The power of God in the form of electricity was all over her. Benny asked those who were touched by Gods Electricity to come forward. She did. The painful crippling disease dissappeared as she acted in faith & got up & on stage & jumped up & down receiving the complete healing from Gods Holy Spirit. Benny also writes books on thepPower & relationship of the Holy Spirit & the Power of the Blood of the Lamb. I have purchased these. This is God's anointing & God's Spirit. So? Instead of letting 'doubt' or 'criticle spirit' rule. Trust the anointing of God who heals. Otherwise, how can you act in faith & recieve the healing that is made available?

JC istheMan, What about the biblical verses where increase is promised. God would have us be in health & increase as our soul prospers. 3Jn.

The men of faith who forsake all to follow God through out the bible increased throughout their life, they may have went through a difficult time, but God gave them double increase at the end of their life. Jesus said that when we forsake all for Him & His Gospel, then He gives 100 fold with persecution. So? God is a God of more than enouph with plenty left over. Joel Osteen is one who God has blessed me with too. And the Lord even had me purchase his book, "Your Best Life Now.". God blesses him much in increase. But then he is very positive & preaches victory & many who listen & activate Gods increase principles in their lives have also had increase in there lives.

David, Tell me who exactly purchased the toilet seat. Did Joyce take money sent for the orphanage to purchase a toilet seat? No!

O...VTvictim, Benny said, "The Spirit was leaving...". God decided not to heal the girl. Benny isn't the healer. Just anointed with the 'gift' of faith & healing. The man was probably not recognizing this. God doesn't heal us because we deserve it. He heals us because we have faith in Gods power to heal & act out in faith. I suspect the man acted out in faith but wasn't looking to God for the healing. There is a reason why God doesn't heal sometimes. And it has to do with faith & the act of faith. And God had a purpose for this girl.

This isn't Benny's fault. The Holy Spirit left. But the Holy Spirit knows more than we do about some who go forward. Somtimes the person isn't sick at all & is just trying to cause trouble. I have experienced God's touch strongly when I have gone to see Benny Hinn. And I know some who were touched by God & were miraculously healed. But not everyone gets healed. Faith & an act of faith & honesty are factors if people get healed by God

LJ4, I apreciate your honesty. Except I am not jumping down your throat That isn't honest because it is an exageration. I also gave you a thumbs up.

Also VT. What about the person from my Church who had a divine apointment with God. She had a crippling painful disease. The electricity of God touched her. She went to the back of the line. Others brought her forward. As she did this act of faith, she was completely healed & the pain left. She was sooo excited she made a fool of herself on stage. God healed her. This is a true story.

When you go to these healing services please people do not go with the intention that these ministers are the ones who are healing you it is your faith and belief in the healing power of God. if you dont believe no matter what they do they can anoint you all over slap you in the face speak in tounges all night you will never get your healing. If you read all the miracles that Jesus performed he ask them if they have faith or if they believe some he just tell them what to do and they act on it like the man that he told to go and dip in the river and he obey and was healed. God uses people to do the work he gives them the words and it is up to us to use it His words never go back to him void. I heard that Joel osteen was been called a devil because of what he is doing how can anyone call what he is doing evil if peoples lives are been changed for the better families are reading his books and are coming together people who are living in poverty are pulling theselves up and doing better. Satan will not go against himself and put happy smiles on peoples face. He comes to kill steal and destroy God comes to give life and life abundantly. I think these people are jealous because Joel osteen is prospering and accomplishing what God assigns him to do. I dont know what kind of God they are serving when you are in the will of God doing what you are suppose to do he spoils you beyond measure. Now there are people who are doing wrong and using God as an excuse it is not up to us to judge them you do what you have to do and God will take care of them. satan does not want Gods name to be Gloryfied and so he will use anyone to try and stop the work of God even CNN but it cannot be stopped.

If you read the bible you will know who fasle teachers are. CNN has no right to condemn anyone as Pat Robertson lives a life of luxury. Jesus said you cannot serve both God and money. If they were true to the ministry and teachings of Christ, they would be out among the poor and not live in mansions and wear Rolex watches. When Jesus said, "Come , Follow Me..." he was saying to do just that ....follow Him, act like Him, live like Him. Don't think that is happening with these folks and the shame is some give all they have to seek healing. If there truly was a faith healer, he or she would be in the hospitals, in the children's wards, in the streets, healing in the Name of Jesus for free.

The Bible says that there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. The world does not understand the principle of obedience to God bringing blessings into believers' lives so they think they must be doing something crooked or illegal. These ministries, for the most part have been around for decades & the founders have proven themselves to be people of integrity. It is a Spiritual principle that when you give, you receive & these people have given of themselves & their resources to bless people all over the world. They are being about the Father's business & being good at it, too--that's why they're being persecuted.

Yes, I will stand in prayer with you but THIS IS THE SEASON OF EXPOSURE only God knows when that season is over. So this also serves as a warning to all those who in the body who are doing things that you know you shouldn't now is the time to stop because the covers will be pulled off in this season. I am definitely in no way saying that these ministers of the gospel have done anything wrong. There will be attacks from the enemy when you do what is required of you and most people not in the body of Christ can't understand how it is that people of God have what they have and why they are so blessed, but we know that Jesus said " I have come that ye may have life and have it MORE abundantly", "Beloved, I wish above all things that ye prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers". It's not the will of our Father for us to be broke, busted and disgusted at all-yes we all through trials and tests (even as Job did and we all know how blessed Job was) but it's not a permanent situation.

I am a Christian and I believe that Joyce Meyer is a very good teacher of the word of God. She is under a pastor's authority, which I believe any woman teacher should be. As far as Benny Hinn goes. I can not judge his heart because I am not God, but I went to one of his services in Birminham, AL and I honestly felt like there was no sincerity in what he was preaching/teaching.

People need to stop following man and lean completely on God. Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Paula White....none of them can save you, heal you or anything else. They can use the word of God to teach and be a prayer warrior. Sometimes God does use people as an outlet for a healing source, but people have got to STOP thinking it's the person that is doing the healing. IT'S THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!

EDIT: I never said that I doubted people getting healed. I said I doubted the sincerity of Benny Hinn. I also stated that I know that God does use people for healing ministries. So, you need to read the answer closely before you start jumping down my throught telling me that I need to have Faith.

I used to believe and follow Benny Hinn. I went to several missions and saw some incredibly hurtful things.

There are many documented cases of people being turned away by his Brother, who decides who gets to go on stage or not. The whole thing is clearly a shill game.

The last Hinn meeting I attended was on Long Island. I waited and prayed with my family, because we wanted my niece to be healed of Childhood seisures. We attended all three days, waiting for our miracle. I personally spent over $200, which at the time was alot of money for me. My parents and sisters spent more than that in offerings for the lords work.

On the final day, I made my way down to the floor, and found myself in amoungst the really sick people, at the back of the floor seating. I noticed that anyone getting on stage, only had back problems or internal injuries that couldn't be seen. The really sick people were kept in the back and not allowed forward.

There was a man holding his daughter, who was obviously near death, and struggling from some form of brain damage. He was desperate and near the end of the final meeting, rushed forward and tried to get Benny Hinn to touch his daughter. He was behind several rows of people crowding the stage, so he handed her, above his head, to the person in front of him. Essentially the girl was handed person to person to the front of the stage.

I watched Benny Hinn look strait at that girl, and then claim that the spirit was receding, and quickly end the meeting. I sat and watched that father try desperately to get backstage to see Benny, without luck. I watched him sobbing outside, because he believed that he had let her down and that he hadn't done enough to get her healed.

When I got home, I started looking up information about Benny Hinn. I found that this is normal. That he clears over 100 Million per year, yet has little to show for it.

I realized that me and my family were tricked by his message.

He should be charged and put in jail for his actions.

When my grandmother was dying of breast/bone cancer 6 years ago my mother sent a prayer cloth across the United States and had the preachers from TV pray for her with the cloth in their hands. She received it back with words of encouragement and pinned it onto her shirt as an act of love because my grandmother was very religious. She passed her time by writing scriptures from the Bible on paper and I cherish those to this day. Whenever she wrote me a letter it would start or end with a scripture. I am sorry that I missed CNN, but I try not to watch the news because they never have anything good to say. Have you ever noticed that when the news comes on the announcer usually says good morning, evening, or whatever and then they hit you with horrendous news, why is that? I am not against anyones religion, but what gets me is why you have to be in church to praise God. I don't think he minds if you are on the toilet or whatever praying to him as long as you get the point across. I have my own opinions of people preaching on TV asking for money. If you really saw where the money went I think people would be ashamed to admit that they sent money to them. Jim Bakker is a prime example along with a few others. Everyone is not exempt from mistakes. We all make them, just learn from them and move on.

No.

If Jesus could do without a $23,000 toilet bowl, I'm thinking Joyce Meyer could. There is simply no room for that sort of opulence in a ministry. Even if the $23,000 toilet was a gift (it wasn't, it was bought!) it could have been sold off and the proceeds used for good works.

THE TOILET WAS PURCHASED BY THE MINISTRY.
Twenty three THOUSAND dollars in tax-exempt contributions, spent on a marble-topped commode.
