CHRISTIANS: can you show me one
verse of the bible that authorize the use of the blood apart of Jesus ´s blood to save our life? (Luke 22 "drink" and Revelation 7 "Wash")

So should we use another blood to save our life? What do you think Jesus will do? if he gave us his blood and we use another one , aren´t we rejecting his sacrifice?

Why do some Fundie Christians get all hyped up about books/movies such as Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia?

And yes, I have seen people get upset about the Chronicles of Narnia. Harry Potter, perhaps, but come on, its just a plush lion and some bad animation (well, before the new one came out)

But why moan about "witchcraft" or "talking lions" when the authors of these books are devout Christians, and the books have very strong Christian themes, particularly the cruxifiction of Jesus and the demise of Satan?

I know its not really important, but why do some people get agitated and start BURNING BOOKS?

What I mean is, do you feel uncomfortable with teachers letting school children know that there are other ideas out there about where life began and how it developed?
Suppose a teacher were to say something like, "In this class, we are going to teach Darwin's Theory of Evolution...but before we begin, I'd like to make it clear that there are other ideas about where life came from and how it developed. If you'd like to explore some of these ideas ON YOUR OWN, these books are available" and then proceed to give the children a short list of books that they can read FOR THEMSELVES that discuss other ideas, such as Intelligent Design?
Why or why not?

Here are two postulates whose necessity for Christian ethics cannot be argued against:

GIVEN: God knows everything (not generally, not after the event, EVERYTHING for ALL TIME). also GIVEN: Humans have the ability to choose different actions in life at any moment ( the ability to make not a FAKE, illusory choice, but a meaningful, REAL choice).
How can these two postulates, both so necessary for the meaning of morality itself, be reconciled?

I'm stating what I know, from my study of Christian Theology, to be the facts about Church Dogma. I'm asking for an answer with some thought in it, one that doesn't blatantly disregard or deny one side of the problem (if that's possible) that is really all I want. So far I have never seen such an answer; and my hopes are not too high.
