I think it would be very bland and boring.
I know most would say it would be peaceful, but I disagree. It is not our diversity in and of it's self that causes strife. It is human nature to always find something to fight about. If we all had the same nationality and religion, then it would come down to differences in height, hair, skin or eye colors.
What causes discourse is too many people with too few resources. Also, people trying to force everyone to think and act the same way.
When there's food on the table and you're being left alone to live how you want to live - everyone is happy and get's along.

It would be wonderful if everyone worshipped God in the way that he approves. There would be no wars, no hatred, no selfishness. This is exactly what the Bible promises for the future:
"And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together; and a mere little boy will be leader over them. And the cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull. And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because THE EARTH WILL BE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF JEHOVAH as the waters are covering the very sea." Isaiah 11:6-9.
Not only will the animals be at peace with each other, but humans will, too.
Psa 37:10, 11:
"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
It is difficult for many to imagine this. They can't even trust members of their own religion. When war is declared, members of one denomination go to war and kill members of that same religion in another country.
Isa 2:4: "And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore."
There is a people today who have already done this. They are in 235 lands around the earth. The love and unity displayed by this worldwide brotherhood is unsurpassed by any other group. They are Jehovah's Witnesses. Why not talk with them the next time they knock on your door?

True... there would be peace because there would be no need to fight over which religion is correct and all that. Which would be good.
But there would be nothing that makes us distinctly US. I mean... say the entire world was American. Our idea of cultural food would be MacDonalds, and ethnic clothing would be... I don't know whatever the big designer is right now.
Also... it might not be a guarantee of peace. If we were all the same, then someone that is different for whatever reason would be rejected on the simple grounds that they're not a clone of everyone else.
You have a point, everyone being the same would cause peace, but I can see a lot of problems that would arise from it. The huge one being how do you get rid of everyone that has a different nationality and religion, and AREN'T willing to change it.

Like one big Germany if Hitler had won. What your saying is in the works right now but doesn't have the good intentions that you would think. If there was to be one government that ruled us all and enforced a common region it will do it through the control of currency, which is already under way. Look at the Euro dollar. This type of thing will continue until all the world is governed by one currency and there won't be paper or coins it will be plastic or activated through back accounts. By only allowing currency to be stored in computer data files the government will be able to track every thing you spend on. The government will most likely be a corporation of some kind and they will control what you eat, drink, buy, hell even what you think all through there laws and regulations that they have had the public vote on and pass using fear tactics and propaganda. They will let us fashion our on prison. Example: The Patriot act. For our own good? Or just a way to gain more control over the American people...hmmm...

Only an extremely oppressive and intrusive totalitarian regime could achieve such a thing. Sure, there would be peace, but it would be at the expense individuality, culture, civil rights and everything else that many people say makes them human. And I don't think the peace would last because there would be revolts from within. People wouldn't tolerate living that way for very long.

What has the sky to do with faith? Religions divide adult men through fact they can't agree. What brings adult men to agree approximately issues while they began in disagreement is info. yet there could be no info approximately faith. If there have been admitted info approximately it, all might agree that there is not any god and that prayer does not paintings and that death is the top of you and that eternal existence is in basic terms a stupid thought and that the explanation why you'll be good is through fact you recognize how different individuals experience and choose each physique to experience happy and ... ... ... and ... ... ... and

I don't think so. Imagine the seductive appeal of being the leader of this united world. Think of the power one would wield. This power would draw the ambitious to it, they would compete among themselves to obtain it, persuading others to fight on their behalf.
The politics of a small city, or even a small church, are enough to persuade the observant that humans do not do well in positions of authority, and that Lord Acton was quite correct about the effects of power upon people.

Not a chance. We'd find something else to fight over. It is just natural to our species.
However, if we were all one country and all one religion, that would mean and even SMALLER group of individuals who were in charge, and no other system to challenge their authority over the masses.

No. We would just find other reasons to fight. It's the nature of the beast. We are very tribal animals.
