If God is truly 3 persons who are equally God, there should be an ABUNDANCE of CLEAR statements to that effect found all throughout the Bible. Yet NOT ONE SCRIPTURE of a vision, dream, or CLEAR description wherein God is shown as three persons could be found:

There has to be a counterpart to everything for balance to exist.
There has to be good to define bad, there has to be happy to define sad. Have you ever had a really bad feeling come over you? Im sure everyone can agree that they have at least once. But who has ever had a really good feeling come over them suddenly?

There is a kid that sits next to me in my Biology class who is an atheist. I am a Baptist. All he does all during class is ask me question after question in trying to prove me wrong and he makes fun of me because of my religion all the time. I try to answer his questions the best I can, but he just laughs at me. Anyone got any ideas on how I can get him to stop?!

Alll my life i have never doubted the possibility of a god or greater being, but i'm starting to feel a little confused about my faith.
I do read the bible and i know that god tells us not to idolise false prophets/gods so how can i be sure that what i'm reading and listening to in church is real.

You look up to see a helicopter and a man throwing a ladder

The Man Dies Saving You


You save yourself, but some people are left behind...

The people try using alternative methods like swimming...

You keep urging them and bugging them to save themselves but they wont listen!...

They start to get annoyed at you but you keep telling and begging them to save themselves!!!!

But the people keep refusing!

Anyone agree with this analogy?

Helicopter=God

Ladder=Christianity

You=Christian

The Man With Ladder=Jesus

People Who Dont Want To Be Saved=Non-Christians

Alternative Methods= Other Religions

Any thoughts on what I just wrote?

how do you suppose physicists determined the half lives of all the elements? do you think it was just a number one scientist came up with and all the rest of the scientists on the planet just agreed on? or do you think there's a verifiable, mathematical way of determining such a thing?

We love Jesus so we keep his laws . I dont know why people want to change them or not keep them. what I say is that we are not saved by the laws anymore but we keep them because we love him. If we just sin and sin and again are we not disapointing our Father. Why not keep all 10 commandments. including Sabbath and no graven images. dont we Love him enough to do that

Colorado man reports he was able to kick his drug habit after a photograph of him at a relative's anniversary celebration showed – literally – a demon on his shoulder.

Joe Martinez told Fox 31 News in Denver that drugs were killing his soul.

But he's now on the road to recovery because of the photograph.

"I look at it and I carry it wherever I go," he told the television station.

The photo showed a typically smiling couple at a anniversary reception. What it also shows is what Martinez's wife, Patty, describes as "Satan."

"Right away I really thought, I said, 'You're really walking with Satan'," she said.

British newspapers are full of the story today. She gave birth to twins and haemorraged, and although the doctors begged her husband to overrule her written refusal to have a transfusion he would not and she died.

I just wondered how you view this? Will her husband be applauded? Is this nevertheless a tragedy, or is it a triumph of faith? Had she (or he for her) accepted the transfusion and lived to raise her son and daughter, would they have been looked upon badly, or even shunned?

I am a Mormon and although my faith forbids me to drink alcohol, I can if it is deemed medically necessary. I am not expected to die for my faith. Does it worry you that you might be called upon to do so?

Interested to learn the Witness perspective on this.

Dashboard symbols?
My son has a list of dashboard symbols to identify for his Driver's Ed class. We've managed to identify most of them (I don't drive, so I'm not much help), but there are a few we are stuck on.

Would anyone know of a website that lists some of the more obscure symbols and their meanings? Thanks guys, for all the help. It's appreciated.

I've posted this in automotive and homework help, but I'm willing to bet the best advice comes from here.
