Hi

I don't think giving a baby up for adoption is a sin at all. If you are not able to provide for your child, and you have no one to help you, then the best thing for the child is to give it up for adoption. I'm sure it's very painful to do this, but it shows how much you care about the child if you're willing to give it away so it can have a better life. It's much better than having an abortion, so I'm all for adoption.

Giving up for an Adoption is WAYYY better than Abortion...THat person receiving the baby would be so thankful. And not to mention their life story on trying to conceive and not be able to have a baby. That would be a Gift from God to them.

No. It is not a sin. But if it is. Jesus died for that sin too. It is better to give a baby to an adoption than have an abortion

It s not a sin to give the baby up for adoption but it is a sin to have sexual relations and not be married. Most babies are from mothers who were not married when they got pregnant.

No, it's not a sin. In fact, it is a great act of sacrifice on the mother's part when she truly knows she can't give the baby everything he/she needs.

Read the story of Moses' adoption and of Esther, who was adopted by her cousin.

And remember, Scripture says that all believers are "adopted" by God into His family by baptism.

I'm sure he doesn't view that as a sin. He would much rather have that happen than an abortion.
