I've never reported anyone here in R&S.
I would only report something that promoted abuse of any kind toward children.

Anything that is gratuitously vulgar, racist, or bigoted. I also report anything that's insulting towards ANYONE in this section, pornographic avatars, sexually explicit questions, and anything that threatens violence towards a person, a particular group of people, or a place.
I do not, however, report roaming games, avatar games, random off-subject questions, or drinking questions.
We may have freedom of speech, but that does NOT mean we can do things against the Yahoo TOS, especially when the rules, if applied correctly and not taken advantage of by trolls, are MORE than fair.

People preaching because this is a forum for questions not a church.
Other than that i don't report because freedom of speach. I've had people report me and i'm still not sure why. Some people report because they are scared of the truth and they have nothing better to do with their time!

I don't generally report anything...unless they are blatantly attacking the person asking the question..or threatening to hurt the person or telling the person to hurt themselves or others. But that would be the ONLY reason why I would turn them in.
I NEVER would if the person was only stating their opinion about something..nor would I if they criticized how I stood on a subject.

Questions like this.
Just kidding- the only thing I have reported in openly racist or derogatory questions and comments by obvious trolls whose only goal is to be deleted as soon as possible. Now I just ignore them and hope others will do the same. If no one answers their questions, then they will hopefully get bored and go away.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." That is the text of the 1st amendment. It applies to Congress and other government bodies. On YA, there is no "freedom of speech" like that. This is a private business and they can decide what gets posted on their site and what doesn't. I have reported those who repeatedly post slanderous lies about certain groups of people; who try to incite violence against certain groups of people; and who threaten violence against certain groups of people. I see nothing wrong with that.

Nothing. That's my choice. I can understand why people report things that are blatantly racist or vulgar only for the sake of being vulgar, but I choose not to report anything.
