God asked one of His followers to marry a prostitute. Do you know who this was? And WHY did the Lord ask this man to do this ???

Was it a stone, or a sword that killed Goliath ??? According to the measurements given in the Scriptures, Goliath was a huge man. Do you have any idea of how tall he was, using today's measurements ??

I am new at this reality, of being 'deity free', and loving it!
I 'm more at peace than I have ever been in my life!
I wish someone had shown me the light sooner.
My question is, what in the hell does this mean?

I've seen this expression at least a dozen times! So could someone explain it to me?

I know that self pity has got to be a sin. I am not sure how to identify it, so please help. I am just overwhelmed, and need some words of encouragement. I am so thankful for my job(full time), my children(two boys, 3 & 5), my parents who are very supportive, my partner who is holding my hand on my path toward God(but lives very far away). I am also grateful that my kids love their dad so much and he loves them, though it is not often that he is "available" to see them. So why do I feel so alone and pitiful? How to hold on to faith and trust?

I'm trying to decide if I should be using birth control as a married born-again Christian or if it is wrong. I didn't even know that it could be wrong because everyone seems to use it that I know. I would love to see the different views on this. If you have scriptural references that would be great. If you think that birth control is wrong that most likely makes oral sex wrong too, don't you think?

1-Who created the whole Universe
2-Who regulated the rotation of space bodies & Created life on earth
3- Do U really beleive that the whole Universe includ'n U were created accidently ???????????

God is the creator who wasn't created , God is un-limited Ur little limited mind can never understand God's existance but U should beleive and U'll understand by the power of the holy ghost not the brain's

Why is it that so many of you spend most of your time on here, condemning atheists, homosexuals, and others, while you pretty much do what you want to, put people down, bash other religions,do all the things you tell everyone else not to do, and then say all you have to do is'' repent'' and all is forgiven!

My question is, how can you do all of these things, and still think you have the right to tell other people, that ''they are sinning'? How can you preach?

Well... im kinda confused on this verse. I only read the Gospel of John, (great book) and im stuck on what happin to Juda after the death of Jesus. What happin to him? Says in Acts 1:18, "With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out."

From what im understanding, Juda got paid to betray Jesus. Yet in this verse, what happin to Juda?
