Yes dear one... I understand the concept.
We are asked to make ourselves the servants of all we encounter in order to honor Christ.
Humility honors our Lord.
Numbers 12:3 (Moses was a humble man, more humble than anyone else on earth.)
Psalm 25:8-10 Because the LORD is righteous and good, he teaches sinners the path they should follow. He leads the humble in the right way and teaches them his will. With faithfulness and love he leads all who keep his covenant and obey his commands.
Psalm 147:5-6 Great and mighty is our Lord; his wisdom cannot be measured. He raises the humble, but crushes the wicked to the ground.
Psalm 149:4 The LORD takes pleasure in his people; he honors the humble with victory.
Proverbs 13:1 Wise children pay attention when their parents correct them, but arrogant people never admit they are wrong.
Proverbs 16:5 The LORD hates everyone who is arrogant; he will never let them escape punishment.
Proverbs 18:12 No one is respected unless he is humble; arrogant people are on the way to ruin.
Proverbs 21:24 Show me a conceited person and I will show you someone who is arrogant, proud, and inconsiderate.
Isaiah 29:19 Poor and humble people will once again find the happiness which the LORD, the holy God of Israel, gives.
Matthew 5:5 God blesses those people who are humble. The earth will belong to them!
Matthew 19:30 But many who now are first will be last, and many who now are last will be first.
John 13:13-17 "You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am. I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another's feet. I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you. I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master, and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them. Now that you know this truth, how happy you will be if you put it into practice!
Romans 12:16 Have the same concern for everyone. Do not be proud, but accept humble duties. (Menial labor.) Do not think of yourselves as wise.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, HUMILITY, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.
Ephesians 4:2 Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another.
Philippians 2:3 Don't do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering OTHERS to be better than yourselves.
Colossians 3:12 You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
2nd Timothy 2:24-25 As the Lord's servant, you must not quarrel. You must be kind toward all, a good and patient teacher, who is gentle as you correct your opponents, for it may be that God will give them the opportunity to repent and come to know the truth.
James 3:13-16 Are there any of you who are wise and understanding? You are to prove it by your good life, by your good deeds performed with humility and wisdom.
...But if in your heart you are jealous, bitter, and selfish, don't sin against the truth by boasting of your wisdom. Such wisdom does not come down from heaven; it belongs to the world, it is unspiritual and demonic. Where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is also disorder and every kind of evil.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Peace.

I do not no for sure what you mean. Some people work harder than others, and are better in a particular field of study than another. Some people have stronger moral characters than others. If you mean, if one puts their traditional belief system over another, the statement is likely true. But, I am not a traditionalist. I train on the edge spiritually and have been developing my spiritual ideas for over 30 year doing almost nothings else. I have a new Astrology system, I developed. And I find that no matter how hard I work or how thourough I am figuring out the best of the spiritual ideas to have, I find there are some that will never give me credit. I accept that, since life is not suppose to be easy. I hope you are an open minded type, to spiritual advancement and individual pioneers in this field.

I have sometimes made myself seem superior. I admit with diliberat intent. I am out to get the person's hackles up. This is almost always a result of intolerance and one sided views. As a result I often end up offending others and get criticized for being an egotist or narrcissist. To them, I end up replying and agreeing with them, apologizing and giving reason for what I did. Majority of the time they actually rethink and accept a good part of my original statement. I'll put my head on the chopping block anytime just to get people to think, reason and maybe place themselves in another's shoes. As to my real view of myself? I would need a ladder to even be average.

My upbringing and character allow no room for me to place myself above or beneath anyone. Be you rick or poor, white or black, man or woman, I am your equal. I do not see the top of your head or the bottom of your feet when I look at you. I see your heart and it deserves my respect. If others see the top of my head, that's their problem for I know who I am and I know who they pretend to be.

I have come to realize that is NOT all about me but rather all about HIM. God loves everyone and I have learned NOT to judge unless I have walked at least a mile in thier shoes:)
