It wasn't created. It wasn't an accident which implies intent of some knd. It formed out of a singularity. There may have been other universes in the past that went through a "Big Crunch"; or maybe not. The fact is we do not know at the present time what happened before 3 seconds after the Big Bang. Not knowing is not the same thing as "well since you don't know it must be God." It could have been God who made the Big Bang happen; it could have been something else; we do not have that information at the present time. If you want to believe that God created all of it, then by all means you believe that. We who do not believe that are not trying to tell you how to think or what to believe. It is you who are trying to do that. Why are you so angry and hostile? If you were sure you were right, you certainly wouldn't need to be so hostile, now would you? edit: I'm sorry, but you are being hostile about it and that is what I think...I did not say the Big Bang was the beginning of all matter...YOU said that in your reply...I said we do NOT KNOW what existed before 3 seconds AFTER the Big Bang, which by the way, was not an explosion implying that there was a spark. This is a subject that is too complicated to put into facile words and sentences as you would like to have and you are not interested in really learning anything...so the bottom line is it doesn't mean anything to anyone if you don't believe it. Go on not believing it, but stop trying to get others to go along with you. If you are sure you are right, why do you need to get affirmation from others?

1-Who created the whole Universe?
Have you ever heard of the "Big Bang?" or taken an astronomy class? IF you haven't take one. It is all there as to why the universe is here. It explains everything

2-Who regulated the rotation of space bodies & Created life on earth
its not a who its a what and that what is gravety. A large mass has gravety even humans have it we are just not large enough to be effected by it.
Life on earth- its called evloution. We see it in animals. We can even trace back our hearitage.

3- Do U really beleive that the whole Universe includ'n U were created accidently ???????????
yeah, I do. and I also believe that it is impossible that there isn't life on other planets. I believe that they are either techinologically less or more than us. I'm not sure which one but because of that they are not able to contact us because of different insturmentation.

all i'm doing is answering your qustion. This is what i believe not everyone believes the same thing. If you don't want to believe in what I believe thats fine. There is greatness in believing in God. There's a trust there thats strong and can almost never be broken. as long as you don't force God on me I won't force anything on you...I'm just answering questions.

- Some Questions for you. If God loves everyone no matter what, why is there suicide? If God made everyone Why would be make a person who would rape someone? Why would an accident take a childs family away from them? "God only gives us what we can handle and then a little more for good measure" who is he to decide what we can handle?

"God is the creator who wasn't created , God is un-limited Ur little limited mind can never understand God's existance but U should beleive and U'll understand by the power of the holy ghost not the brain's"

Why can't the same be true about the universe? Why is it okay for GOD to be uncreated and always there, but not the universe? Just because you say so? Let me know when you come up with a rational explanation for that one.

if you can accept that god always was and always will be, why don't you think the universe is?
we only make up religion because it is hard for humans to accept the possible fact that we may be alone in the universe.
this debate will never end. both ideas are based on theory and assumptions of our surrounding environment.
wouldn't it suck if this life you have on earth could be your only existence, and you spent your only existence hoping get to a place that doesn't exist?
we both know the opposite sides of this debate. you'd then say "where would your soul go?" then i'd say "what if there is no soul? where do crickets and caterpillars go when people crush them, and is it not a sin to kill another being?" why are we any different then them, we are all still made up of the same, useless matter as anthing else. why are we, a species that naturally destroys anything we come in contact with; better than the beings that have inhabited this planet longer than we have?

you won't be able to teach the non-existence of something. you won't be able to teach the non-existence of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. that's why crackpots proceed to think of they could exist - without evidence what-so-ever. So that's with God. No evidence for his existence yet idiots proceed to declare he's actual consistent with no longer something. Evolution on the different hand, the is overwhelming evidence for the actual fact of this concept. quite issues interior the international which would be considered and measured and examined and there are no longer any conflicting result. Darwin understand no longer something of DNA whilst he wrote The foundation yet DNA checklist correspond precisely with what the assumption assume. Evolution is a concept interior the comparable way that gravity is a concept. that's particular, measurable and it makes predictions which would be examined. Evolutions actual. It got here approximately and remains happening. Failure to settle for this marks you out as a dullard and a delusional fool. in case you quite beleive in creationism ask your self this. Why are the fossil keeps to be of animals which no longer exist. Why do human beings have the remnants of a tail - or an appendix. The checklist is going on. briefly, the only why the creationism is coherent is that if the author meant to make a international which appeared like it progressed.

hey sub-zero

I'm Christian and God-believer as you'd term it.

I just wanted to warn you not to challenge everyone like that who doesn't believe in God. If you want to witness to them, this is not the way to do it.
This actually turns people off more to the idea of God, so be gentle and be smarter about how you try to challenge.

further no matter how hard people try, you cannot prove or disprove that God exists, no matter how hard you try. It will be just a waste of time because you'll never get your conclusion. You cannot prove evolution or creationism and intelligent design. These things cannot be proven. All you can do is share what you believe and your own personal testimony. God will show himself to people's hearts, but it's not your job to.
And even if we could research, our pea-brains cannot possibly understand the Universe and God. We can have all our little theories and string theory, etc. but when it comes down to it, we are small and won't understand.
Not that it's not serious, but we can't even solve AIDS, so we can't possibly understand the whole UNIVERSE and God! :)

but, You don't go online to the world and tell people to prove something i dare you. Who do you think you are?
ok?

Dude, you're giving us believers a bad name. This isn't a new, clever, or creative question. People have been asking it since the beginning of time. When it all boils down, you can't prove OR disprove God's existence without dying, and maybe not even after that. So stop whining.

2007-11-03 09:39:03 · answer #8 · answered by Dan L 3 · 0 0

First off, the burden of proof lies with the one making the claim...in this case, yours is the supposition that needs proving (the existence of God, not the absence)

Second, why would you dare people to prove it? Why not just ask?

Third, who said the Universe was created? Why can't it be just an ever present, constantly expanding and contracting volume of gasses, a few solid objects, and primarily nothingness?

Fourth, humans came from more than mere accident.

Fifth, I've given you way more time than your question deserves. You're welcome.

Blessedly, I don't have to prove things to those who choose to believe that their form of God is the one and only. I useed to be that person, a born-again Christian. I believe that the Universe, in the form of Summum, created the Universe, which is God.
I believe that the regualtion of rotation is an internal decision of the living Universe.
I do not believe it was an accident, but I also don't believe that it was as is described in Genesis. Especially since that book was written ages after it all happened.
I'm proud to say that I do indeed, or at least have the ability to, understand it. My question to you is: if God created you in his image, why can't you understand even a little bit of what he is and how he thinks? Wouldn't he have created you to think for yourself. That's how I was created, to use the brain I was given, regardless of who you believe gave it to you.

You know what, you're right I will never comprehend the idea of God just like you will never comprehend my beliefs. However, my opinion is:
1. The Universe was created mysteriously indeed. It continues to grow and this is why scientists are lead to believe that there was some sort of cosmic explosion.
2. No one regulated the rotation of space bodies. This happens naturally due to gravity. Everything including you and I possess a certain amount of gravity and the bigger the item the more gravity. This is why we end up rotating around larger objects. The explosion put us in motion and we remain in motion while tethered to the sun.
3. I don't think everything is accidental. I think everything is amazing! It's wonderful to know that it took trillions of millions of years for me to come into being. Life is wonderful! Let me embrace it without God.
